Whats the Call...Anyone Playing L2?

Open beta for L2 starts Sunday. All beta accounts carry over into the gold version. Anyone playin this game. I know a ton of guilds are starting off this weekend to get a jump on the upcoming servers.

I went and checked out the site. It looked ok, but to me the class/race options didn't look too promising.
But maybe I missed something that makes this game so great. Someone feel free to prove me wrong.

What I want to know, is once I go through the grind, is there a developed PVP model? I like the variety of PVP types you can get in daoc. I really want my next mmorpg to have something other than mindless ganking.

Apparently they've updated the site since I last checked it out. I actually like the class layout now.

haven't studied it thoroughly but will this weekend.
I preordered on EBgames.com and hope to get in beta next week.
We are going to play on Bartz with Combine, and a ton fo guilds from Andred to kick the crap out of them.
So far I have 8 people from BWC old and new that are in.

Just no huge alliance those are never fun. Only 1 guild can hold a keep for 2 weeks before you HAVE to defend it. Also who ever is the guild leader from what I HAVE read is going to be gimped. You need to spend your skill points or what ever the yare called on the guild so that means less points for your toon. However Guildleaders can breed Dragons or something i dont know the logistics so take this with a grain of salt.

Its confirmed Whoever is the guild leader takes a huge hit as far skills go
a guild is very expensive, holding a keep is expensive, the keeps are very rare. and the guildleader has to be present during a siege 98%
sure.

ok so we need someone very active as GM. It's only a title so give it to someone who is always on. BTW, I am not sure what the server names will be right away. At this time server 1 is the server all the PvP guilds are using. Bartz will be were they are heading.
BTW, for you CoE cats your old friends from Fatalis will also be there

but the game sux imo. even the downtime at <L10 is annoying, i dont want to se how it is at L150
