anyone play halo for pc? i have the xbox version and i am trying out the pc version now. im thinking of getting the xbox controller adapter and using that and was wondering if anyone had tried that. also what key setups are you using? i find looking with the moiuse a bit cumbersome, especially if you want to turn more than 90 degrees in a hurry

Halo can't handle PC platform gaming for a few simple reasons.

Halo is a slow game. everything about the game is sluggish. PC gaming especially FPS game are all about speed, turn speed... jump speed.... run speed. Halo lacks all of that.

That type of game speed was fine for the xbox becuase your controls are limited. but once it was converted over to the pc, they didn't enhance any of the controls or gamespeed.

so now you have a big ole "fatty" (how you worded it) machine that is running a sluggish ass game.. but it's not slugish becuase the machine can't handle it.. it's sluggish becuase the bloody game is a snail.

xbox controller is bad for halo pc.

in halo pc, they removed autoaiming.

halo was great on pc when me and pink used to play it. it was some fun times.

I really liked Halo PC, ran great on the Alienware, looked much better than xbox as well. Try turning mouse sensitivity up, you should be able to whip the crosshairs around.
