Just from reading everything in the past couple of days the game doesn't seem as finished as I had thought it was.


I am just getting the feeling that BWC won't be playing it afterall, due to the PvP not being done well. I hope we do though. I don't want to come back to DAoC, but I may have no choice.

If you don't want to play it, why do you want someon's beta acocunt? Of course it's not finished, the beta started yesterday.

As far PvP "not being done well", how can you say that? The only thing you can say about PvP is it's "not done yet".

I never said I didn't want to play it.

As for the PvP, true it's not done yet or even in the game, I just have a feeling it won't be done well.

Well, I have faith. The've done everything else right so far, why shouldn't we expect the same for PvP/

IMO PvP, in order to be well balanced, requires more testing and tweaking than PvE. If they have gone this far in the beta without testing PvP, I fear its going to be weak and unbalanced. Atleast at release and for a long time after. Look at other MMOs that did not focus on PvP: EQ, SWG, AO...the pvp worked but it was unbalanced and really when you get down to it crap (i know people will argue about EQ PvP but I thought it sucked) If you have a love for PvP encounters, I would wait a long time before switching to a game like WoW. As for me, I'll try WoW but in the end im probably gunna stick with DAOC. Especially if the new frontiers add-on is all its cracked up to be. my 2 cents

This far in the beta?

Beta started yesterday. Yes, I'm sure there's lots of work to be done. Who knows, PvP might suck, but there's no way to know right now.

Sorry I wuz including all the time spent in alpha. PvP should be implemented from the get go.

I sincerely hope that we play WoW. I really need a new game to play.
