Killets DAoC Template --- Need Honest Template Opinions!

I've given up farming for more uber loot... Just gonna make the best I can with the crap that I got already.

Please help me evaluate which template should I go with? This is for Killets, a level 50 Druid, spec'd 40 regrowth 36 nature.

Current -
This template is currently the template I'm considering.. current, as in, my current choice.

Reasons why I like it are:
1) I don't have to use a shield in RvR, which throws some people off, especially when I use my 2-h mace hehe
2) I don't have to level anymore artifacts, since Egg and HE Cloak are both level 10.
3) I have 5 (6 if you count shield) pieces of armor which will reverse proc either an ablative or a heal.

Reasons not to like it:
1) No duration %!!!!!!!
2) Boots don't have special abilities, or a reverse proc.

Pending 1 -
Well, after doing some more tests, +duration% now affects mez/root/stun times. This is the template I made in reaction to this change.

Reasons why I like it:
1) 23% duration effects = 5-20 sec longer duration root.
2) 5 pieces of reactive armor procs.

Reasons not to like it:
1) Low resists for heat (17%), matter (9%), spirit (15%). Not as many artifacts.

Pending 2 -
This was my attempt at squeezing in as many USEFUL artifacts as I could. Crown of Zahur for range buff. Maddening Scalars for extra +con and for more shapechange!

Reasons why I like it:
1) Lots of artifacts!
2) Crown of Zahur = Longer Range Spells,
3) Maddening Scalars = Additional Shapechanging / Class Obfuscation.
4) I look cool, since black sword with red flames + black shield with red flames combined with my black armor look pretty neat.

Reasons not to like it:
1) Maddening Scalars and Crown of Zahur not level 10 yet (Crown of Zahur level 1, Maddening Scalars level 3.. but both are very easy to level, especially after next patch).
2) Only 4 pieces of reactive armor.
3) No duration%!!!!!


I'm honestly really divided... How valueable is adding +5-20sec onto your root? My 70 sec castable root would jump to almost 90 seconds (87.5). Even vs Determination V, it will root them for 22 seconds instead of 17.5 seconds. How important is class obfuscation? I have a Traitor's Dagger in my off-hand, which allows me 10min of shade mode every 30 min. If I purge, the effect disappears however... would it be worth it to have an additional layer of class obfuscation with the Maddening Scalars? How important is it to have more reactive armor? In my artifact template, my helmet won't have a reverse proc.. how much value does having it have a proc add to my template?

I would consider adding :

Belt - Belt of Exhilaration - drops from Medubastet (sp?) Healing Embrace Mob - 3 magic skills; 7 healing effective, 6 stat enhancement, 5 cast speed, 6 acuity cap.

Shield - Hapy's shield of Dred - drops from ML5 trial step -
21 acuity, 21 dex, 40 hps, 7 slash, missing stat (something versus dragons), 6% cast speed

Hammer/Crush - Arcanium Heavy Antalya Trucheon - drops from Typhon ML7 boss mob- 12 acuity 3 magic skills 5 melee combat speed, 8 cast speed, 10 AF cap, 5 duration of spells with endurance heal proc.
Have you thought about adding Gift of Love haubrek in template?

Nah, I'd actually prefer something like Girdle of Thunder, with +80hp cap, but I've reached the barrier for utility. All my templates max out healing/castspeed/power anyways, and Mesudbastet is a pain to farm, because everyone and their mother is trying to kill him for the HE cloak.

Technically, I would have wanted Hammer of the Apollo (+7% healing/power/cast), but after leading 5 fruitless ML6.8 raids, I was pushing my favors to do it anymore. Even my guildies were like, "bleh" when I'd bring up "ML6.8 anyone?" :)

Have you thought about adding Gift of Love haubrek in template?


DoT reverse procs = bane of all druids. Some other artifacts I have activated or sittingin my vault with scrolls but veto'd because it didn't have enough utility:

Band of Stars, Ceremonical Bracers, Scorpion Tail's Ring, Ring of Dances, Belt of the Moon (still tempting with the 10% melee resist buff and +40hp cap), Wings Dive (no way I'm gonna level it.. although leveling is bugged right now and this thing pretty much levels everywhere).


So...which template did you vote for and why? :D I'm still trying to decide which is best. the artifact template, the duration% template, or the no-shield template.

Druids are lame
