Which faction are we leaning toward for WOW?

Personally, I would prefer to play on the Alliance faction, as I want to make a dwarven warrior, but I can see the attraction for the Horde races as well.
I also suspect that the majority of the morons on battle.net will choose Horde and make undead rogues. I want to be as far away from those shmucks as possible and would prefer to be able to kill them.
We need to pick one, so what is your preference? If possible include why you favor one over the other.

I really wanted to be a gnome priest. Apparently Gnomes can't be priests, which sucks, so I might settle for a dwarf priest...

Im most likely going Dwarf Priest as well, with what I've seen they look so sexay. d0rf for t3h win again! I also forsee tons flocking to undead, but for mages as most of my friends want that. I prefer playing the underdog.

As bakerton said, I'd also be very interested in any info the Alpha WoW people would be willing to pass my way. PM or AIM. Thanks a ton!

Personally, I would choose the alliance side, just because every "kewl d00d" idiot will pick the horde. And as someone said above, I'ld rather kill the idiots and not have to worry about them.

Law and Bulor will help us make that decision.

Once it gets closer to Beta we will make decisions.

it's all basiclly the same thing on either side.. only thing that differs is the shamman/paladin classes.

Paladin is more of a tank that heals.. and a shaman is oe of a caster that heals. and uses totems to kick ass.. so a shaman can laydown more damage to multi mobs then a paladin.

personally, i 'm playing a tuaren warrior.. and they will be the best warrior class out there., as for shamans, trolls seem to have the highest advanateg(for they have a high spi) regen rate.. so they make good casters.

i really don't mind which path we take, just aslong, as we makesure we get crafting going.. gear actually makes a hella of differenance between who lives and who dies.

my 15 warrior is decked out right now, and when i group with other warriors of equal and greater level.. i'm constanly taking aggro from them, with just 1 swing of my mitghy axe. unstyled even.

such a fun game.i hope they do the AvH correctly

I hope we go Horde.

As for the crafting, I know I will do at least 2. I had 5 LGMs in DAoC. I love to craft. I guess we have plenty of time to figure this stuff out.

and crafting in WoW is sort of simple.. but you will still need to 'level' in order to be a crafter.. some of the supplies needed to craft can only be found on monsters.. lik leather and such, or from mining deep deep hard dragin infested caves.
