Any Suggestions Madness?
Ahh, shadowblade leveling =P This can easily be an exercise in futility without the right resources.
How did I level my shadowblade to 43 in 4 days /played? Can't do it without a shaman buff bot. I suggest the shaman be specced evenly in mending and augmentation until both are 22... After that, put all points into aug. At lower levels the buffs dont make a huge difference... there are severe stat caps until after 20th level. What you need is frigg's (heal over time) which acts as a insta heal (66 points per tick at mending 22). Also Frigg's dosent leech experience, at any level.
Lets face it, levels 1-30 are cake, they can be done most anywhere. I look for mobs that have a weakness VS leather (piercing attacks). Mobs succeptability to slash really isn't that important, because dishing out damage is the SB's forte. Screw kill tasks, these levels shouldn't take more than 30 minutes once you find the right camp. I always liked trees, and anything that dosent wander much.
After level 30 things slow down a little. With the shaman, oranges should be fairly easy, and you should be able to kill nonstop. The key to levelling quick is not having any downtime. Frigg's should be able to offset the damage you take, and end regen offsets your fatigue. There should be enough mobs in the immediate area so thay you don't have to move around much. Varulvhamn and spindehalla have some nice camps, Arachite Krigares being the best spot from lev 38-43. At 43 you can take Ekyps Gunslings and Fell cats, these give nice exp and have piercing attacks.
If you aren't pushing bubble, you're doing something wrong. Move to a new camp after the camp bonus goes down to 5%. Take no chances with aggro mobs... always be safe. If you die, you're in the wrong spot. Find a slightly easier mob, and just kill more of them.
As far as specs go, Left axe definitely deals more damage that CS styles. You can easily have a mob dead in the time it takes to stealth, position, and perforate artery... it really isn't viable for PvE. If you want to be a critblade, just respec when you hit 40. As for poison in PvE, you're wasting your time once again, not worth stocking the poisons, applicating them, and hoping they work. Just max your Axe and Left axe specs till you hit 40.
This is all fine and dandy as long as you have an extra computer/account. It would take too long to try and find a group to level, IMO.

Guyute tells you, "get another job you lazy bastard, by the time you level a SB to 50 without a buff bot, you could have bought 5 new computers with your new night job at McDonalds!"
Anywhere that pays minimum wage and sucks real bad.
