I have several friends from my original UO guild playing there, and I just d/l'd UO Gateway myself, so I think I'm gonna try it. Let me know if you mess around with it any.

Actually, that is ran by a friend of Mosthula's (at least wtfman.com is) they used to have the JOV guild on AC darktide, and played some on Palo early on before most went back to AC.
I know MH was saying it was cool at first, but they ended up with thousands trying to play at once and got hammered. He might post a bit more about it if I give him a call.

Yeah, it seems rather full. When I logged in at around 2:30 pm EST there were 1038 people playing. It's a great combination of pre UO:R and the good things post UO:R though (like precasting, instahit, house looting, but adding runebooks, etc), so I can see why it's so popular.

i dont know jack about the game, since i never played UO was reading on some of the stuff and there is ALOT of shit you can do. Im also waiting for an email for another shard that boasts something like 800-1400k ppl this other shard has the AoD features activated, what ever that means
Something odd thou 2d and 3d mode seem to lock up, yes i said lock up ass oddly as that sounds
I guess ill format then do some reading and give it another shot, heck a free mmorpg thats free deserves a shot right.

I play in 2d mode only... always have.
And yeah, the graphics for UO suck, but I've been going back and forth from that game for nearly 5.5 years now, so they have something right in the gameplay. Lessee.. AoS is the newest expansion for the game. It added things like resists, some crafting things, etc. The server I'm playing on (the one you mentioned earlier) is more like old UO, where it's mainly pvp oriented. Newer UO has nonpvp lands, older UO didn't. I like my element of risk, so for now, I'm on this server.
