GameCube Games???
I bought a GameCube. I figured wtf it's only 100 bonez. Any suggestions on games? So far I hear MetroidPrime and Wind Waker (Zelda)
Although detractors decry (MMA) as a brutal, bloody form of human cockfighting, aficionados know it is a brutal, bloody, totally fucking awesome form of human cockfighting. -The Onion

I bought one a few weeks ago.
The first thing you want to buy is a Nintendo Wavebird cordless controller. It is by far the best cordless controller I have ever used with a console system. I can keep playing sometimes when I can't even see my TV anymore. It's really well made.
As for games, I went on Gamespy and picked up the 3 highest rated games they listed there.
Zelda: Windwaker, Metroid Prime, and Soul Calibur 2. I also got Simpsons: Hit and Run.
So far I've been happy with them. The Simpson's game is hilarious. It's essentially Grand Theft Auto: Springfield.
Zelda and Metroid are great, especially if you were fans of the originals. Zelda looks like you're watching a movie. Its really well done.
Soul Calibur looks neat, but single player campaigns in fighting games are pretty lame, IMO. Hoping I can play it a bit more when my bro comes to town this weekend to go to the Eagles - Redskins game with me.
Also, I heard a lot of good things about Mario Kart, Mario Golf, and Super Smash Bros. So you may want to look into those if you like the Nintendo characters.

We picked one up about 2 months ago, whenever they first dropped in price. I simply love it. I used to have tons of old NES games, and the GC seems to bring back what was missing lately...pure fun games.
Zelda and Metroid are great, especialy if you played the NES ones. Big time nostalgia
It depends on what you like to play..
if you have a few people over now and then, you MUST buy super smash brothers: melee. up to 4 players fight at once on the screen as classic nintendo characters is simply hilarious. TONS of fun for a group
If you like the horror stuff like resident evil, then get Eternal Darkness: Sanities requim. By far viewed as the best ever made in the genre, and it kicks but. I hate those types of games and loved this one.
If you ever liked crafting on mmorpgs, then you might want to check out animal crossing, especialy if you have a gf/wife whatever. Very childish graphics, yet addicting game play. If you are a collector/achiever whatever, this is your game. No fighting, hard to describe, just rent it and see for yourself if you like it.
I bought but haven't played pikmin yet, heard lots of good things about it however.
If you like classic RPG's, and didn't have the dreamcast, get skies of arcadia. We are playing that now and having fun with it.
If you like the star wars fighting games, get rogue squadron 3. It comes with a multiplayer version of RS 2 on it, plus the new game. I've heard bad things about the ground missions, but the space ones still own.
Mario Kart Double Dash is another fun multiplayer game
I didn't mention crossplatform games really. Lots of good ones depending on what you like, SC2 as mentioned above, prince of persia, beyond good and evil, maden if you like sports, etc.
GC has been the most fun I've had on console games since the NES.

Venderic, Candide or Mercutio in games.
