OK I just spent 10 hours with a game designer and am a little burnt out. I'll add to this Tuesday and Wed. This post is going to be a complete mess.

Races allowed at this time - Dwarf ONLY
Classes allowed at this time - Mage, Paly, Priest

Sam and Smitty played Palys and I played a Mage

We created Bloodwinter Clan and rolled out. This game is all about questing not camping. The only reason to camp mobs is to level up your skills.

Guild ranks at this time are GM, officer, veteran, member, applicant (i believe on last one)

Skill cap = lvl * 5 (i.e. a level 5 mage can have a max of 25 firecast)

Buffs are stackable in WoW

The game is not point anc click movement (yay)

The interface blows everyother game out the window with ease. Almost everything is done through a layerd system and drag and click movement. I will post screenies that will show this better then words will tell the story. An overhead map in the top right that zooms in and out etc.

When you lvl (lvling is easy in alpha with xp increase) you gain TP. TP = training points and can be used to customize your character. (i.e. inc. strength, regenerate health quicker etc.) somewhat like RP's but a little more basic

you can gain XP by - killing, discovering new areas in the world and questing

lvl 1-5 are no0b like DAoC. You can blow through them with the 5-6 starter quests (in alpha at least). at this point you move through a tunnel to the main portion of the dwarven world.

Trades train very much like DAoC - you buy or find base supplies then create componants that can be turned into useable items etc.

Chat functions are almost identicle all the way down to shift+r auto responds.

more im sure but im too tired. I hit lvl 13 first night with the cap at 20. should be there this week and will work on trades.

lata and you other bitches feel free to kick down any knowledge. We didnt hook up with Maddoc but hes playtesting priest. Well continue to cover all the classes.

Again NDA is active ~

actually for crafting.. you find most of your supplies needed out in the field.

you can buy them at the merchant.. but it will cost you a pretty penny.

the XP i belieave isn't an increase alpha ammount.. it seems like the actual xp(the early levels are a tad easy.. later down the road you will notice the long run.. but you will also have about 12 quest stacked up which make you trvael all over to complete)

The xp increase was written in the original statement from Bliz.

I should note the coolest thing I have noticed so far is the game is completely seamless. No zoning ever for teh win.

There is also a binding system that works much like DAoC.

Like Bulor said you find most of your trade stuff but I ended up selling most of my junk early on. There is no weight encumbrance in this game. You instead purchase bags and packs that allow item slots. Most items are stackable. (i.e. a small pouch has 6 item slots where as a large pack may have 12)

Bah...lol he was 1-2 lvls below me. And not anymore brotha I'm Frost 2 also. They have frost doing more dmg then fire with a slowing effext for the cost of a 15%xtra cast time hmmmm. I picked up the Ice Ro0t bro (20 sec prison). Frigend runs that server now bro. See you soon ~

Law > Bulor...I die less

Good times....Bulor, Smitty and I running around BWC style

Barbos I really think youll appreciate this game bro. The design of it looks much more polished in the ALPHA. Blizzard > other....this is no hype, just what I see.

I never looked into it because I never played warcraft, but I've never had anything against Blizzard... ^^

They seem to be one of the few companies that still have it going on..
