Disciplinary action or just explusion from the alliance is problably needed.

I grouped with them several times this week and had a good time. The people I was with were polite and fun.

In the past MF had one of the best gank squads. Good players all.

We can look to be offended by people and flex our muscles of authority, or we can be tolerant and realize this is a game. Seriously, some of you officers are just looking for reasons to be pissed at people. There's been all this talk about booting people from BWC, or booting guilds from the alliance.

If we do, does it make us stronger or it is just people flexing their control muscles? I personally think all the talk of booting just makes us weaker.

Sure, when you got boffnot spamming piepiepie piepiepie all over the AS and the rest of MF goading on the alliance.

rofl, while I was posting this, boffnot just made a macro of the pie thing and is spamming the /as with it.

well, they just left the alliance after spamming the fuck out of it, I told bwc to screenshot it and post it up. I'm sure some posts will be found shortly.

Haha, funny stuff... They are right though most this alliance is full of tight asses and everyone behaves themselves when something relevant is going on... But when nothing but Emain is crackin I still dont see why people think they need to police goofiness...

becuase the /as is for RvR. and not spam.. i don't relaly want to see "my ass is on fire" when i'm in-game. some might say.. turn off your /as then.. /as is always supposed to be on in a RvR allieance so that you stay informed on whatever might happen whenever.

and if the /as is cluttered with spam.. we can just all go join the myth /as.. or the tf /as..

if they are gone.. then oh well, they allowed for one of their members to ruin the name for their guild.. thats just a shame.

I'm out of town this weekend.

However, I did speak to Asbury about the Midnight's Fury crew. He basically gave me the ole "Its a game...chill out" and he said that when they all hit 50 they will be more contributing (their membership is in low 40s).

This is not the old kick ass Midnight's Fury (I believe they are still on Bedevere still). These are the members that didn't join them way back last November. I spoke to Yipee about these guys. They believe in taking keeps when 3 keeps are down and doesn't understand why we freak out when one is taken in the frontier. They lead their own alliance on Bedevere and mostly their /as is very relaxed. To be honest, there wasn't a Midnight's Fury representative at the last alliance leaders meeting.

If they have left the alliance, that is fine. If Wyrd or Fury restart their own alliances, then its ok I guess. I was hoping for more unity like Josh has stated. However, the old MF would have been more mature and compromising than this bunch.

You people take shit way to seriously in /as... it's not going to kill you just makes you look whiney when you .. oh wait whine about it. TF doesn't have an alliance and Myth reformed their rules.. People seem to forget this is just a damn game and cant let ppl have fun

See actions lead to other actions. People follow by example.
If you let this shit go on, others will do it, etc.

Be stern and people will follow that and act like that.

Thats the key to a good alliance and commraderie. I know this is a game, but one of communication and expectations is important.

oh and to something i just noticed about aens screen shots...

dude.. wtf are you doing using the old ass laggy shity crapy DAOC classic interface... the transparent one owns.. also using white /as type burns the eye... you can change it to yellow, so it stands out from the rest of the ingame clutter.

It isn't. It is the transparent SI client. I just greyscaled it to lower the file size.

So what you going to sit there in /as and cry about it telling a person to shut up? Have any of you ever thought about instead of opening your mouth in /as to add to the spam to just contact the GM or Officer of that guild and talk to them first instead... That Midnight's Fury will be better then the ones that were here for the first time around, and you want to know why? Because that guy named Xeak is the GM of Natures Fury on Bedevere. He is an awsome leader for RvR purposes and will make the guild better then the first time they were here with PBAE easy mode Raystar.
