I have been away from home for awhile and unable to explain the drama that is Barbos. I am not sure exactly why he decided to remove 14 months of creative property listed by over 500 users but I believe it is a combination of my overestimating his maturity and him overestimating his position with the boards.

I made SuperHelix a ADMIN of our old boards because my current position requires me to travel and I wanted him to have access to everything (user groups/ all forums/ access changes etc.). Barbos took exception and removed him with a stipulation attached that I could never promote another to ADMIN again without checking with him first. I took exception to Barbos trying to play Dad and control the forums. A few months later I made my brother an ADMIN (who used to be an ADMIN) so I could contact him by cell phone and check on the boards. I immediatly recieved a PM saying "I am very dissapointed with you" from Barbos and had my ADMIN status revoked for the second time. At first I was not even sure WTF was up and then remembered this gei conflict. I responded saying you have 3 options

I was away and did not get to see it but I heard there was some Law sucks page attached to the old URL too :badgrin:

. Oh well, what are you going to do it was quite ammusing I hear. I was warned by my bro that Barbos could be shaddy at times and was trying to tug the site away, but he was always pretty honest and loyal to the BWC project. As much as I liked the old boards it was becoming an impossable relationship. Starting over was not the best option but it is the reality of things and was bound to happen sooner or later.

BWC is a long term community it seems there was a great chance that cross road would have been traveled sooner or later. It has always been my stance that the community membership is the most important commodity with the guild boards and it is great to see 70 members already transfer over and Ting and friends to pick us up. Have fun all and I will see you soon enough in game.
