Recent experience in a "savage/warrior" group

The group consisted of 2 warriors, 2 savages, one sklad, one aug speced shaman, and 2 healers, one of which was pac/mend and the other aug/mend.
I have heard good stories of such groups and what you may have heard is true. We owned every single group encounter we had. Of course it helped that we all asssisted with one warrior hanging back to watch the healers and shaman.
We even encountered Shux's grp solo, but at the time had Screamercy(RM) instead of 2nd warrior.
Both savages were HTH, and both warriors were hammer speced. The warriros were predominatly using Conquer/Frost hammer combo. The savages effectively prevented druids and bards from kiting them, and the warriors made sure that charging tanks did'nt get to the healers.
While this is a damn good gank grp for single grp encounters, it probably wont do well in large scale battle where AE is everwhere uless you have a dedicated mage grp for range to counter ae.
It would be nice to see us put together a tank and mage grp to see how well we could do agaist superior #'s, because Midgard is behind in pop. Food for thought.
