This is a game. We play for fun.

The guild as part of that game is supposed to be fun. We join to have fun and success and all that.

Once we start getting all negative on each other, or realm mates, it's not fun. Others see that and bail.

There's been way too much drama lately. We have lost members because of it. And us fighting with other guilds doesn't make BWC stronger, it makes us weaker even if it does feed our testosterone.

We need to chill. We need to promote FUN more than anything. Not to make things work or guilt people into doing stuff.

If it's fun, BWC will remain strong.

Unless someone disagree's, I am going to post this on the regular boards. And I think we as officers really need to focus on this - FUN - and to try to suppress drama whenever we can.

I have no objections to you posting anything Josh, but I did want to say that I strongly feel that most people bring the drama upon themselves. Others cant play unless they are causing shit for themselves or others.

Others just ignore the bullshit and dont try to start any crap and play to have fun. These are the types of people Id rather play with.

But we can fan the flames or we can remember that we are just all here to have fun. And we all have our good days and our bad days I am aware. Some of us flame out more wildly that others on our bad days. I know I can be an ass sometimes when we get wiped, but I try not to.

When we get these little cliques, and so and so doesn't like so and so, and visa versa, what purpose does it serve? I know I'm an old guy, but that is seriously so juvenile and doesn't make the guild stronger.

I just want to have fun. Whether we have 8 people or 50 people in the guild. I don't want expectations put on me. I want to group with the rest of you because I want to, not because I'm told to. I want to go to emain with the guild because it sounds fun, not because I have to.

Rhi you are right, some people are younger and thrive on drama. But we as officers have to be bringing people together, not apart. And we need to have thicker skin than the rest imo.

Bottom line for me folks. Next 2-3 weeks I probably won't log in once.

Moving in, new job, girlfriend here, lake, working out, bball league, etc, etc..

I will be on the boards but not in game... Take a break, enjoy life, wait for new DAOC and new games to bring us together once more. That doesn't mean BWC has to die. It won't and we won't..
