Relic Raid strategy

So i was out in Sauvage, when me and my grp got a little to close to RK and pulled 2 purple named guards from there... We were running from them, and i thought they would loose agro once we zoned to pennine, but they kept chasing. They killed us halfway between GK and Ellys

Well point of the story is, we were gonna meet up with Adrin and his grp to merge at GK, and when he arrived, i told him guards killed, us and he said "Yeah they are walking back.
The RK guards are WALKING back. So what im thinking is, 1 skald and 1 shaman stands on the base of RK, while 3 random ppl they are grouped with, runs up to RK and aggroes as much guards as possible, and the skald and shaman sprints off on speed 6 into pennine as far as they can get, and the guards who aggroed the members of their group should in theory all run after them, and when the skald and shaman gets killed by the guards hopefully a long way into pennine, it will take the guards a consederably long time to WALK back to RK.
