several times the last few nights emalei has asked or agreed to go to albion with my group to farm albs. generally it is agreed upon that my group leads and he will follow, which works out for a while. inevitably his groups takes off, with no explanation, and soon after dies to multiple albion groups and there is complaining about it in /gu. tonight was no different - both groups are planning to go to albion and kill in forest sauvage while vendetta runs their morale boosting albion keep raid, so i ask emalei if he wants to flank us to fight the alb zerg. he agrees and follows until we go back the the pk to pickup new members. everyone says they are ready so i slowly move out, but emalei is moving parallel to us, not behind us. they split from us sometime before mmf and we don't see them again until both groups are at the ellyl camp. after killing a small group there we move again, but the other group doesn't follow.

about two minutes later his group dies to 3 groups of albs near the green knight and they start complaining about it on /gu. we come kill the albs, but his group has already released. there is talk in /g of how we need to move together, and i point out that emal agreed to move with us before anyone ported to albion but, as they did the night before, have taken off on their own and died for it. we talk about meeting between surs and ber again but emal says he refuses to stick to my group. celest talks with him and says she will drive, so after hesitating a minute, i stick to celest. we wiped out on the hib zerg at beno several minutes later and most people in my group log.

i'm sorry, but this entire mess is absurd. personally i think emalei feels insulted that a lower realm rank is trying to lead his group somewhere, which i find asinine. it could also be that he doesn't like my driving, which is understandable i'm a crazy driver, but if this is the case why is he agreeing to follow my group in the first place?

my view of this is fairly simple: i've taken the initiative to invite another group to follow mine, which the other group has agreed upon, to both function as a guild in rvr and to fight zergs with. the other group is backing out of this deal and then blaming me when they've died for running off alone and said nothing before hand. i couldn't careless if someone doesn't like the way i drive or lead groups, but for me to initiate something another accepts and them to blame me for their failures is idiotic.

i clearly lead decent groups - i'm earning between 160 and 200k realm points per week on a limited weekday play schedule and making almost none of them in emain. my driving is a little crazy but noone who groups with me often complains about it anymore because it works. ask anyone how often groups get the jump on us vs we do them unless i'm doing something stupid [/b]

i saw no personal attacks in her post aens.. and the DoG is not for whining.. it's for bringing things into view of the officers to be able to handled them properly before turning into a larger issue..

and yes.. there is a issue hear with emalie not wanting to work with the guild for the greater cuase.. yes she is a good players.. but yes likes to do her own thing(i refer to her and a she becuase of the chars sex).

Teamwork is what BWC is about.. working togther for the greater good.. if members of the guild are just into RP farming.. miss-using CG to locate albs to farm.. and not follow the commands of the leader at hands direction.. then yes there is a problem.. maybe that person would feel more comfortable in a guild which is non-factor.. whcih just roams emain trying to gain the most rp.

what it comes down to.. is teamwork.

I could see maybe one or two times, but if you continue to keep agreeing to join up just to split off, seems like a lack of teamwork to me.


There have been countless times I have been pissed because my group leader decides to "split off" and winds up getting us all killed or lost... I hate selfishness in a group.

Ok, from what I saw.. This was about ALB RP FARMING I've already heard all the drama, and Dannica people have a problem with the way you drive, and you took offense and decided to make a post here about it. I logged on, and heard all the silly drama now its time for you to get over with it. You'll just have to accept that. Bulor you're still pissed and holding a grudge over the thing with yana the other night because he wouldn't give Yana up because that was his only healer in that group besides your shammybot?

So let's face it, he got pissed at dying to zergs and complained about it in /gu when you guys were out "RP farming" not relic raiding or anything, but farming for albs. He split off and got whiped while you guys were RP FARMING? This sounds like nothing but a personal vendetta post to me at trying to get back at someone. RP's mean shit about someone leading or RvRing skill.

Kairma, good post.. and i stand by it, and totally aggree with you.

It wasn't the trading healer for shammy.. it was the threat that if Yana was traded.. she(emalie) would leave the group. i'm not a fan of those kinds of actions, doens't seem very teamlike.

Yes this wasn't very good communications. Our group stopped to fight and your group didn't see the albs and went on.

This happens.

When I said in /GU that we need to work more together what I meant is that we needed one driver, not two. If we Em's group sticks Kairma, then we all stay together. Thats what didn't happen.

2. Kairma's driving. Lets get this out in the open. Kairma is the twitchiest driver ever. Personally, me, I don't mind it. It makes me dizzy but I think you are a great driver and CC'er so I'll take it. Results is all I care about and you deliver. But I've heard others in the guild that might appreciate your skillz but can't take their screen shifting constantly. This isn't anything personal, it just is what it is.
That right there was the reason why we didn't have /stick on Kairma. Because we wanted to follow without getting dizzy.

3. Way way too much chemistry going on in the guild right now. People bitching about other people, attacks on the boards, people can't let shit go that happened a month ago.

And for those that don't know - Kairma has a R8 minstrel on Tristan. She is not a newb. And in battle, she is every bit as good on her healer as ANYONE we got. And I'll also give her props for consistently getting a guild group together, always being open to taking on WHOEVER from the guild and not being snobby or cliquish, and I never hear her bitch about other people. In short I'm damn glad to have her.

And for the record while I am spewing - I've had a damn good time with Emalei too. Em is a one man wrecking crew and also is an outstanding driver.

I am going to take responsibility for what is happening. We have lots of talented leaders here but we have seem to lost our focus. We need to stop the pettiness and move on. Myself included. We need to respect ourselves and each other. We're here for a reason.

Kairma- I apologize for what I said about your driving about being jerky and never ending roller coaster ride which is probably why you posted here. I have nothing against you leading in RvR. I think you are really awesome. I think the constant movements in movements rattles the brain and we tend to lose sight on whats going on the screen. I know I'm used to easy flow of movement to concentrate what lies ahead. Some like constant movement to speed up the adrenaline. Everybody is different.

We all have our own special way of doing things when leading in rvr. I like to shout, bitch, and rant in /gu. Not necessary a good thing. At least I've improved a whole lot since my early days. Ask Super.

Also, we need to RESPECT each other. If someone is leading in RvR, we need to respect their decisions and way they operate. If Kairma is leading, we need to respect her decisions. However, we need to COMPROMISE each other so we are on the right track. If I am leading for several hours, I'll pass the reigns to Aenslands, Bulor, Kairma to lead guild rvr. We need to come to a consensus. We have a lot of motivated people who like to rvr and lead groups. Lets focus on teamwork here.

Teamwork, Respect and Love is all I can ask.

Just get radar like Emalei and everyone stop and follow him.

like i said i can understand not liking my driving but is it not wrong to agreed to follow another group, decide not to and die to the alb zerg for it, and then complain about having died?

it wouldn't bother me if this happend once, but things like this have happend frequently with emalei. another example is the night before last he asked for a group in /gu so i invited him to the group i was forming outside uppland. we get ready, go to odins, and kill severel small alb and hib groups that are about while we hunt for wicon's group. as we're running along the zone wall to hmf emalei drops from group so we assume its a linkdead. i wait about 3 mintues then see his named listed in a /gc who and send a tell asking where he lded at. no response and a few mintues later we see his death spam and i notice my pom buff is dropped, so i mention it to the group and everyone agrees that was rather rude. larelith sends him a tell asking why he disbanded without saying one word and asks why he is ignoring our tells. no response, so i send liader a pm because he asked for a group while i was full and he says he is joining emalei's group. maybe i'm a sucker for manors, but all of this just strikes me as being rude, especially considering this was a group comprised of almost all BWC. from this i took that the members of this group and i are not only not good enough for emalei to group with we're also not worth the time of replying to tells to. how else could i have taken this?

no that was cyacya's minstrel mine is only rr5, but i'm at about 2.4 mill rps between all of my old chars, so i do have considerable rvr experience.

in retrospect i totally agree with what you did by taking over driving - what was happening is probally the most foolish fight i've seen in two years of daoc.

no, i didn't post this because of any comments about my driving i honestly don't care what anyone thinks of my driving because it works for me. i just don't understand how others can get so upset about it they feel the need to ditch their guildmates without saying anything why. this strikes me as very disrespectful, and to be honest leaves me resentful, which combined with severel things emalei has done in the last few days prompted me to make this post.
