Good job guys and gals.

Give the details, and how the hell did 122 mids come :)?

Miss you all, and I will be back next week. Hold the fort down until then.

Friday night RVR was dead dead dead. I think it was the release of SWG. We agreed that night would have been a good night for a RR but we hadn't had any plans in place. Celest talked to Drutt and they agreed we would try something that weekend.

All Saturday we held 3 alb keeps. I think this was largely intiated by the Myth alliance. Once the Albs came with 60 or so to try to retake surs but we had 20 mids left in a LR defense and kicked their ass. After that, all they had out all day was 20-30 albs. For hours they couldn't muster enough numbers. And we had 40 mids in Alb most of that day.

Celest got on about 7pm my time, and I started nagging her that we should RR, so she and Drutt had had some discussions. They agreed to get it going. Celest did a fantabulistic job organizing rams and details. Drutt turned over command to her. Drutt announced RR on their /as. We had one person say RR on our /as but largely did it on a guild level. I also spent 30 minutes sending tells to any 50 in DF I had ever grouped with.

( I also sent Rethl to find you on your new realm assface, which he did, and you blew us off!)
------------------------------------
We held Beno, Surs, and Renaris when we set out for the RK on no speed. Celest did a fantastic job keeping the zerg together and making sure everyone knew not to kill guards. We rebuffed near Hurb and got some guard aggro but no one killed any guards. Amazing. 1/2 way from Hurb to the RK we came across 5 Angelic Fury and killed them. At that point they knew what was going on and it was a race of time. We started spamming /as for all available mids to come hold the mmf.

We got to the doors, all the mids stayed tight and the rams were up fast. Every set of doors the rams were up fast. Only about 15 albs came to RK and died before they could get in.

Celest was relic carrier and took off in front of the zerg in an attempt to speed the relic home before the albs could get there. The albs beat her to MKX by about 30 seconds. So she detoured to Beno to hold. Meanwhile 100 albs (very rough) were fighting the 3-4g mids at mmf. Then drutt rolled the 100 mid zerg from behind up their backsides and mids won. 4g hibs also attacked during that time.

Then it was a cakewalk home.

Very fun.

Thanks Josh, and it seemed every RR I went on for a while failed, so since I didn't go you guys won.

Awesome description plan and execution, should be very happy.

Great Narrative Joshll!!!! One minor correction, it was the euros, not myth, that greased the skids of the war machine. Starting way late friday Night - weeee early Sat morn, after Stateside mids logged, Alb keeps slowly fell. The first to get hit was Ren, and though the Albs gave their all, we found them wanting. When I logged at 4am, it was in the LR of Beno to the distant sounds of the night-shift Mids repairing the doors, and the cheerie "gnite" of a delirius Shnowjob. When I logged back in no more than 3 1/2 hrs later, waiting in my chat window was a panikked, hastily typed call for help from that same night-shift crew........."RETHL!!!!!! INC SURS!!!!!!! Within seconds, with "You are Encumbered" spamming up my Buffless display, Bled disappeared in the distance behind me. When I pulled up to Surs and saw but 3FG of weary and tattered albs fighting gaurds and meleeing the door, it was with pure and uninhibited exhiliration that i blasted, KILL THEM! EXIT NOW! And for the next 4 hours, wave after wave of early rising albs hurled themselves as Surs, and Bled. Then, as the clock chimed 12 noon, in a spasm of desperation, 68 angry Albs busted down door 2 at Surs and strutted into the CY. Perhaps it was the 2 weeks of alb domination that made the Albs forget, or maybe those 3 groups of Mids looking down at them had simply had enough, either way, the ferocious precision and thunderous fury that rained down upon those albs sent out a wave that Midgard rode all the way to Grallahorn.
