For those of you that were not on tonight I'll get you up to speed. Tav (Tavs/Tavash/Taviish) left BWC tonight. He feels that he doesn't know 95% of the guild/isn't really included (which for the most part is true). He is a great player and more importantly a great person. I URGE you to please, please group him whenever possible over the next little while.

OMG no!!

Tav is uberific. Man he was a COE force on Andred and we can't lose this guy.

I'd like to suggest we consider making him an officer along with Obbie. Partly because the old friend base are officers now to make communication easier and other reason is that these guys are hard-core players and key to keeping BWC alive during Planetside testing.

I think we need a Malmo week or something to re-bind all the BWC'ers.

we have been doing more solid total pure BWC groups latly, lets keep those up, and i'm sure he will feel more part of the guild.

i also think all us officers should use the /o less, just so more of the members feel as if there is more communication going on within the /gu .

i dont /send individuals usually but i do ALWAYS do /gu forming rvr group, once i get all the bwc interested i do /as, and then lastly i do /y and /b to fill any remaining spots. i guess im a little sick of people always wanting ready made groups and shit handed to them all the time.

OK I am leaving this to you old CoE'rs out of respect sense you guys really know Tav a lot better then myself. He really has not done too much here. I do however have 3 things to say -

1) I like Tav and would love to see him stay

2) Any member really needs to make a little effort on their part to fit into a guild this size. It is impossible to make 90 members feel like your best friend.

3) Bulors suggestion about using /gu more is money. I am very guilty of this. I can see how this happens as we consider the 30 of us here core BWC (or friends really) and the body of the membership tagged members for a particular game.

Other then that I will personally try to touch base with him Sleyn if needed but I believe you old CoE'ers may have more of an impact. We mat have to bring out the big gun and have Super call him Assface and gay a few times for leaving.

Love the Tavs, hope this gets worked out. I'll talk to him in game if/when I see him but don't know how much of an impact I will be able to have on him not knowing him for long.

Law, most of the guilds he has been in/GMed were small. Hand of God on Palo has 7 members (All great friends - btw you should look at their data on the herald. Very impressive). Personally I think this guild is way too big. Why shouldn't you feel close to every member?

Amit, this post was directed at the officers with a little goodness in their hearts :D . Now get back to your RR or whatever.

i don't really play daoc much anymore, but get on the ball with tav.

its very true though, that guy like never speaks. it was true on andred, probably true on merlin.

so basically, he's too shy to say shit, so if he doesn't get invited to do stuff, he feels left out. kinda quirky, but he's still a good guy, and if definitely an asset more than a liability.

I always talk to Tav, I love the guy to death. He is what we call good shit. Couldn't be a nicer guy to talk to. Mr. Family man is his nickname. I haven't really played DAOC a lot lately with work, but will talk to him.

Btw, he needs to be an officer. I have no idea why he wasn't already. he is a Pve force, and pve is half this game.

Played with Tav on Andred too. One of the nicest guys this side of Amit. He's definitely a bit shy and you gotta pull him outta his shell. But he's a big team player and will always sacrifice for the group.

He should be an officer.

Ok re-guild him in game and I will grant him DoG access. From what I hear he is thought of as a core member but I want to make sure he is interested in coming back before we make him one. Please keep me informed.

Law it's not a matter of reguilding him. He left us, he wasn't booted. And throwing an officership at him will just look like charity to get him on side. The best thing we can do is group him as much as possible 'til he comes around. (That means both he and Khaja/Oobiedoobie).

Sly is right, he is incredibly generous and giving. He basically leveled Sylix's SB to 50 at the expense of his own savage. He has also been more than generous with both nat and I.

I'm just asking you to include him til he gets to know more people in the guild. :bigups:

I spoke with Tav today and he will rejoin if Oobie (think that's how you spell it, heh) will guild again. He understands that the timing sucked to get to know us. Oobie is not even 50 yet, so you know he does not get any RvR grps with us. He also understands that PvE time is when guilds really bond in games and he missed that time.

Anyway, he has a fairly good idea we want him to come back and that has had a positive effect. He knows we are doing it because we think he fits in. So keep on him and I think hell join again as long as Oobi is with us. We should see if Oobie is interested in coming back.. Hell, I am guilty...today was my first real conversation with Tav and he really is a cool guy.
