Ok I've set this up on an extra machine for now. If it works well I'll put it up on a linux or solaris box out of my way.

CURRENT IP: 66.177.161.75

www.ventrilo.com, download the client, enter a username, type in BWC for server then click teh arrow to the right. Leave port at 3784, enter the above IP. Click ok, then click Connect.

No password for now. I'll work on creating channels and stuff as we go. But for now it is wide open.

Thanks to Warcat for pointing this out, and then testing it once I got it running.

Only issue we may have is IP might change on each release, which is 7 or 14 days for me. Currently 3 days left on this lease. I may have to update this periodically I'm not sure. I'll also look at doing a domain name redirection for it if it works well.

There is also a text chat thing you can type in, run it like a IRC server.

Someone make this sticky please?

Yeah you could quickly tell who had a headset and who had a free floating (for lack of better term) mic. That one friend of WC sounded like he was on a phone not internet software.

Voice Comm is a must!
