Frigging can't play this game.

I get into the game and about 1-5 mins later my graphics go into a massive glitch frenzy and I get booted right to the desktop without warning.

The first night I played it I didn't have this probleme except a few drops to the desktop and such.

My Specs:

GeForce Ti 4600
Directx 9.0a
Nvidia 43.45 drivers updated
1.4 Ghz AMD T-Bird Processor

I play every game I have installed all day long no issues so I don't suspect my setup to be the issue. It has to be something with Planetside that just ain't liking GeForce cards or I don't know anymore. My friend Drac is having same issue. We talk on voice and either him or I will get booted within that timeframe above. I have heard others having the same issue but haven't seen any fix or tricks to fix it. HELP!!!!!!!

im on a geforce 4200 and get some odd glitches, such as the game 'skipping' every 2-3 seconds - like a millisecond freeze, just enough to be irritating.
Ive crashed a few times, not as often or as predictably as you though.
Download directX, the latest detonator drivers, and hope for the best. otherwise fill out a bug report and make sure they know you're having a problem.

last nite..the servers were really acting up.. so try not to get to depressed about it.

you might try to just connect to the servers via planetside.exe within the PS folder..and get into the fullserver list(bypasing the patcher) get into your options and lower your graphics a lil.

i'm on a gf4ti4600, and i disablled a few of the "pretty" things just to have the game run faster to my advantage.

HOPEFULLY, when the game is due to release.. we can twik the graphichs to make everything basic(like what is done in q3).

What kind of mobo are you using?
Does it have a VIA chipset?
If so, make sure you update the VIA 4 n 1's
AMD's tend to crash a lot if you don't have those drivers up to date.

Also, try the test driver from the happy folks at Viaarena. The driver can be found here: http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/o ... river1.zip
