Well I kinda know from where Dwayne comes from and I'm trying to get your sides of the story.

Personally, I think we can do better in rvr. However, Lubuu, Khaj, and you too Nat need to get it out of your heads that EMAIN in not the only place to rvr. There are other places to 8v8 or 16v16. I don't care what they do on Lance, Palo or whatever. This is Merlin. Everyone fucking zergs, radars, cheats, speed hacks because they can. I've gotten used to it.

I've stopped rvring with mostly because 1) tired of radar; 2) tired of trying to avoid radar groups and dying; 3) just had enough of it. I only rvr when Ascendency, The Fellowship or Postal requests a healer and they have faith in my abilities. When I rvr with Lubuu etc, I always question my abilities because I always die first or the group always dies. Some people even asked me if I sold my healer or let a friend play it because they don't know why I die so much. /shrug Its all about perception. A rr10 healer dying in a rr5 group constantly. Is there a problem? Don't know. I know its with guildies but we invited the best and we expect the best out of everyone. We're not seeing it.

I'm going to go off more on Josh's point in another post. BWC is seen as a leader of the realm (many of you guys don't believe that). When there are 3 keeps down and 2 FGs of BWC are in emain, that sets a very bad example in my eyes and lots of people are noticing. I even try to get you guys out and I get "there are no rps there". It depresses me but I'll start doing some more RvR type stuff soon.

The past 3-4 days I was pondering on leaving the guild. Actually The Fellowship offered and I declined sort of thing. I was seriously at the breaking point where it wasn't fun for me anymore. Mostly because I was tired of the complacent rvr in emain, constantly bugged to do artifacts, ML raids for people and never had time to do anything I wanted to do. I want to do some stuff for myself but its always "me me me" sort of thing and after a while I can't take it anymore. Never once was there a "Hey Kim anything you want to do today?". There was always "Kim we have to do ml3 NOW right NOW. You get 50 people so I can get credit." Yeah I'm enjoying pve a bit more but relax we'll get it done someday. This is related to when Dwayne logs on. When he logs on, entire guild creams at him organizing RvR groups and getting rps. Sometimes I want to yell "hey fuckers organize your own groups" and chill out. He is only 1 person only to have fun and play with friends. I am only 1 person only trying to have fun and play with friends. No one realizes that its tough keeping people together and doing things together. I just ask that maybe some other people step up in the guild. I've calmed down and had 2 full days of good sleep so I feel better now

the problem with our 8v8 vs their 8v8 is the fact that more of them radar than we do (maybe not ascendancy, but i wouldnt doubt it), they play together every day all day and only do 8v8 all day long leeching everything they can out of other guilds such as master levels and artifacts, and because they have been A) cheating more, B) playing with each other on a more personal basis longer and more often, and C) use voice communication to make sure they all work together better, is the only reason they do better than we do.

this guild isnt about 8v8 for everyone though, and if all you guys want to do is 8v8 then you should just quit like emjay did and make your own guild. there are certain times i wont go out to rvr even if im invited, like when i get into group two with a single shaman as a healer while the first group probably has 3 healers a shaman a skald and 3 tanks. see, thats the problem with running with a "bwc zerg" half the times the classes that arent "perfect" for what the zerg is doing, get snuffed off into a shit second group that doesnt get dick for rps and generally doesnt have much fun. i mean seriously, i already know not to ask for a group if i get on my shadowblade over my savage or my rm even if we are taking back our keeps.

i think that as more people in the guild find/get radar and start to cheat the thirst for more rps is growing so they just dont want to ever leave emain or do anything other than get 25k a night every night every week unless it benefits them personally.

the bottom line is all of you rvr for rps, celes basically what you just said, is you are sick of rvring with bwc because you feel like you are losing all the time, so you would rather rvr with cheaters, D, i love you man, but 2-3 weeks ago didnt you flip out on the guild and cuss everyone out and join a desolate group because you wanted rps? winke didnt you download radar because you wanted more rps? i know i dont join healerless groups because i wont get any rps. the bottom line is, people have fun when they win, or when they lose after giving a good effort and putting up a good fight. as this game has evolved away from keeps/relics (which will end with frontiers) people are getting more and more prone to wanting the "perfect" setup, and fucking over whoever doesnt fit. finding group two a skald and letting them leech when you have 4 healers and they have none is still fucking them over imo.

i have 3 tanks 1 caster and 1 stealther at 50, stealther gets boring waiting for good opportunities to arise, and i have a feeling with the keepishness of NF my tanks will slowly become obsolete depending on how useful siege really is, but as i havent played on pend with one i dont really know. and my caster needs too much work to be worth playing as is. i made my shadowblade and thane first, before i was in bwc, and the rest of them i made because of guild trends; like when toa first came out and there was still 25% cast speed we had to have had like 20 casters in the guild, and i can remember asking for a group for 20 minutes on haldin, then having a rm log in ask once and get in instantly, thats the bullshit that has to go imo. this game is getting stale anyways /shrug, im hoping the pvp WoW servers will be worth a shit, undead warlock ftw imo.

well, you only rvr out of the guild as you just said, so why be so harsh on us for trying to rvr WITH the guild.

you tell me whats worse, our own gm not joining a guild group? or the guild not inviting a 2nd shaman to grp?

as for homeland defense.. when do we really need homeland defense? albs take a fort or 2 and they get pushed back by 150 mids, are you sure they need 158? homeland defense, or hibernian offense in emain, its all rvr. We decide on where to rvr depending on where the group as a whole wants to roam. Most likely, since all haste bots and 5 buffbots are in emain, why spend 15 minutes porting it back and rebuff, just to have all the hibs/albs dead by the time we're there. Homeland is NEVER in danger.


Of course we'd like D to play more than 2 hours a week, but he's busy. People want to rvr, so we rvr, no harm in that.

As for postal/ascendency groups,.. yea, they're better than us because they play together all the time, the same core of RVR'ers. We lack that core to become better because most of us are just casual players or pve'ers. If us bwc cant rvr with our own guild the way we want, then how should we? Its already bad enough for those that want to rvr which cant because 16 of 18 bwc are in pve land.

Notice all those that have quit bwc, they're ALL people which have a different view of fun to the game, which is rvr. emjay, brutalix, wildkat, shamygirl and all those other old time merlin players... they all left bwc because we dont rvr. Now, those of us that are trying to rvr and give this guild some bps, you flame us?

The rvr'ers dont tell the pve'ers how to pve, so the pve'ers should just let the rvr'ers be.

Hey I've done enough rvr. Every time I rvr with you guys, I'm the first one to die 90% of the time. I don't know why but its like that. Every time I run its one death after another then I have to question why I am dying? Did I fail on a heal? Did I fail to mezz? Did I do something wrong? Or People tend to pick tags than going to others in group? I never get support. So why rvr with guildies who don't support you? In understand can't get heals off with pets, tanks whatever but say something also.

I'm just so sick of lack of cohesion. You guys should have teamspeak and SHOULD BE actively using it. The IP is there, the password is there. Why you guys don't use it is beyond me?

I don't radar for a reason. I just hate radar. I don't think I need it. But there is a difference who can drive with radar and who can't drive with radar. I'm not going to download radar to "coordinate" with others. Either A) set a macro for inc B) tell the group beforehand what you expect or C) kick out the guildie and explain why he/she was kicked.

If we want to rvr, either stop being too picky or start implementing guidelines. Wildkat and Shamy left because we were too clique and didn't want to group them in rvr (that was the only reason). Emjay and Brutalix had too many other reasons going on to explain but it wasn't "rvr" related.

Oh well I'm going to stop explaining myself. Not worth the argument any longer.
