I'd like to add this. Seige gear is going to play very big in Frontiers. It's been simplified that it's not ground target, and the damage is now huge. After you see the screenies of the size of the L10 keeps, I hope it is clear that this isn't just something you go up and whack on the door with.

All tanks and hybrids in BWC guild should be expected to learn how to do seige gear. It's not rocket science or that tough. You need to have a crafting tradeskill up to level 1 I think, and to carry tools with you at all times. I learned how to run a ram and catapult against grey mobs in Jamtland one slow day. So take the time and figure it out. Besides, it will make keep RVR much more interesting for melee classes.

I really do believe this add-on is gunna redefine RvR as we know it...but I wonder whats gunna happen during off-peak times....will people find a new emain to rp whore? or will they just wander the border areas searching for fights? should be interesting to see what happens... mythic is really going on a limb here cause if keep taking gets old and theres no place to do stricly pvp...its possible people will get tired of it quick and start playing something else. as it stands now people can always find people to fight by going to emain...now that might be tougher. ill use planetside as an example...the size of the world was so big compared to the number of people playng that sometimes it would take a long time to find real action... it was actually one of the things that turned me away from planetside. i think if they dynamically resized the world based on the number of people that were playing...that game would have been much more sucessful ...but what do i know ...

I agree, I think they are taking a huge chance at what made DAOC sucessfull. However, I think these changes are for the better. It may take a little time for everyone to get used to but in the end I will always think there will be a "emain". The commitment alone for a relic raid was 5-6hrs, adding all these keeps and new seige warefare will make it impossible I think. I think thats why most people farmed emain in the first place.

I am personally all for the seige and graphics upgrade, but I am not confident with the new RA system. I think it is going to turn most people off. I think Mythic has a problem with people. They understand in "princple" how things are supposed to work, but do not add in the "human" factor. I just thought I would throw that out there to see what you folks thought about it the whole frontiers upgrade.
