War Beta Week 1

We had a very good first week. We hit guild rank 6 giving us the battle standards, tax system, greater crafting options and ability to claim keeps. Our first wave of level 20's hit and we have added at least 10 newbies to the guild that have been performing quite well. I would say our avg level atm is 14-15. Were trying to keep the standards fairly high in both ability and personality. The pvp queues are terrible so I'm sure well see alts (classes we need) being rolled this weekend as our members tap the hard cap. We also joined The Merlin Alliance with a few Merlin guilds led by Colonial Marines. Well supply the muscle and they can deal with the headaches of running the shit. As long as we are killing, were happy. Keep up the good work everyone.

:toothy10: I'm guessing guild beta will last for about a month. That leaves one week per tier testing. So that being said I can imagine this phase will be over in a week or so.

Twyst and Ting let's try to get some Tier 2 keep takes going, I tried one last night and easyli broke down the door with just three Black orcs. IMO a good group could do it no problem, although it seems like rams are still bugged. :toothy10:

There isn't a specific level cap for this phase per say. Each tier has it's own level cap before you are turned into a chicken to prevent people of high rank coming in and griefing noobs. Tier 1 is level 12, Tier 2 is level 22, Tier 3 is 32. Although, I haven't honestly had time to start playing, so maybe tier 3-4 is closed.

Tier 3-4 zones are closed off completely. There is no hard cap, but without T3 zones it makes it very hard to level and PvP.

I assume that the Tiered PvP is

T1 1- 11Max (I know for a fast if you are 12 your shit out of luck for T1)
T2 12- 21 Max ?
T3 22- 31 Max ?
T4 32- 40 ?

I never played a closed beta before, so that's why I'm a little clueless. Thanks for info :bigups:

My bad for sure as I guess it is more of a soft cap. I was tired as shit when I tossed this thread together before work and need to be more careful catering these threads to people that have not played the game. T3-4 zones are N/A atm so were calling 21 the soft cap. We will certainly be showing a RvR presence this week and start bringing the pain. I'm sure well be frapsing the carnage for private use if nothing else to stiffen our erections. The next 48 hours or so is focused on finishing leveling, gearing up the last PQ gear and dragging along some must needed players and classes. Well also be dicking around with the trade skill aspect of the game although were more focused on RvR.

What classes do you guys need atm, any? I just got my new computer and my brother is reinstalling and probably making a black orc and I have a DoK alt to level with him but I can make any class for a main if we could use something else.

how the hell do i get in beta? i got the key from kim..

i made a beta acct or whatever... and it says my status is "Applied"..

the area i typed in for the "beta key" now says, "Guild Invite", but I get no other options.

This is at the control menu or main menu for the beta page.

that has happened to some other people too killets, some thought it might be their hardware specs. Maybe try a dxdiag file from another comp?

The associations aren't an auto invite. The guild ones were supposed to be used at a certain time so you'll just have to wait til they invite a new wave of people to get in.

What's the best healer type for destruction? Playing the dark elf melee one but pretty stale so far (yes I'm a newb, but trying to find something that would be interesting, and so far nothing is.)

Shaman I'd say or a Zealot.
