uTorrent is much better than Az, I used az for a long time before switching.
favorite used to be demonoid, but it was shut down.
thepiratebay.org and isohunt.com are two common open sites you can use.

Joox.net = free movie site + shows..
otherwise, I use mininova. has everything, and then bitlord to download.
