I had a guy freak out he didn't get his console on release day (nimrod pre-ordered it the last possible day)
I honestly thought he was gonna hop the counter and take a swing at me

lol, I didnt preorder anything. I figured hell I would see how the crowds were the day of. My town isnt that big and it gets cold here so I figured if they were willing to camp out in the cold for 12+ hours then hell let them have it.
So day of I went to Wal-Mart opens at 630AM and they had 14 units. I was going to go to Bestbuy after that which had 50 units then target then circuit city.
I arrive at Wal-Mart only to see the nerds full on camped out tell stories and singing kumbiya. (sp?) Well I only saw 12 nerds so I figure I could get in line with an hour to go and get myself one. Well the fat nerd says to me there is only 14 available....so I was like ok. I wait thinking he didnt know how to count properly.
Last joke was on me as some of his homies rolled up at 615AM to jump the line and get the last 2 I said something but I was out of luck. They gave the ticktets out and I was one short. I saw the lines in the other 3 places I was going to check and was not going to wait in line for any of them.
So, I decide to go to work and will check the base store before I head in they open at 9am and its 7am by the time I get there. I see 4 people waiting in line and ask them if they are waiting for the 360 they say yes and I know the store is getting 12 units and all of them are premium. I take a seat and wait. Well come close to 830am and people start showing up and by then they gave us the tickets already for them so it was funny watching them have that same look I did at wal-mart.
We are finally let in and some of the people standing in line to buy one are not even the people that were in line with me just cutters and people trying to get their paws on one. I ask the dude behind me hey do you have a red ticket? He answers no. So I then tell him then your not getting an xbox today asshole.
