ok

finally broke down and bought catacombs and darkness rising.

so how does an old timer make some cash in these new fangled things?

Ive been playing my warden on Lancelot a bit and made some appearances on MB in mid merlin.

I have to admit, I'm liking my warden more than hunter atm.

any hints, tips, tricks, helpful websites to these expansions would be welcome.

I have never been an enthusiast of the more obscure holidays like “Groundhog Day.” This type of holiday made more sense long ago when Doppler radar was not available and faith in groundhogs was stronger.

Its hard to on the ToA servers, unless you have a farming class like an ML9 char + bot, or charmer.

Just do TDs for cash. aka level a new character in task dungeons.

Start on the Champ levels. You get 50-60 gold per quest you complete after chapter 1. When you go on the Co5 raids, sell the RoG from it. Nice stuff but better sold to others.

Farm scrolls in ToA -- meso areas are the easiest.

You can message me on Merlin or Percival. I've been playing more percival lately getting my druid some MLs and gear.

Yeah, thats a good idea actually, the meso scrolls are really rare, and most drop off blue con mobs.

The problem with doing TDs and quests is even though they are good money, most of the economies are so out of scale now, that even if you spend several hours running TDs, you'll probably end up with 3-4 plat, which really doesnt get you much.

I recently figured out how to do Battler with just a shaman bot, and my BD, and have been selling them for 15p, which is still half of what most people sell them for, so they've been going instantly.

Augo yeah economy is much better on merlin cluster actually. People actually buy/sell things rather on the RP cluster. RPers are the biggest loot mongers ever.

MB if you play merlin let me know...I can help ya with some cash/farming with my SM.
