What is happening with the guild now?

I really dont feel to read through a months worth of posts, so I would appreciate the crib notes on the current events.

Where is everyone playing?


What's this rekindled attraction to DAoC about?


Who is running things in WoW?


Does BWC exist in any game setting atm?


Are we kinda branching off to do our own things until the "next" game surfaces that we will enter together as a guild again?


Any info would be appreciated.

BWC in WoW is dead. As far as I can tell the guild is splitting up and picking two different realms on the same server. The server is lamorak and everyone is excited cause theres no TOA. So you get 50 and you go pvp. No more artifact/ML grind.

TT is going mid

hall and filth are going alb each have their own followers

Alb = Bloodwinter Clan
mid = The Bloodwinter Clan

alb= fun and relaxed
mid= TT is going for more 8v8 gank grp

wow is dead for bwc most went with ED back to ED

New rekindled love to daoc because new servers are Non-Toa and no buffbots (buff ranges are 5000)

Hi Rhi Long Story short,

Guild was gonna go mid, some ppl decided to go alb, no one has decided a server so, both alb and mid are going on the same server.

Alb has alot of familar faces, Mid has D, TT and some other ppl.

Gonna go on lamo have some fun hopefully as the underdog

lot of old school ppl coming back, Josh,Liader,Himm,jahl,Sleyn,Nat, etc

Has server gone live yet? I thought I read or heard something about it going live mid July.

Yeah, this all started out because I said I wanted to play a Friar, rather than another Mid class, because I've played Mid for years. A few people thought about it for a while and decided that Alb sounded fun. My original intention was to roll Albs on the server opposite of BWC Mid so I could still play with BWC Mid, but it seems like a lot of the guild changed their minds, and many of them seemed to be set on Lamorak, so apparantly everyone is rolling different realms on Lamorak, and apparantly we are all using a variation of the same guild name. ;/

What's this rekindled attraction to DAoC about? Besides a fps, its really the only real pvp game out there that suits multi-player and some skill.

>Well, technically, our GMs aka Sh and Law are sucking eachother off and don't really play much games anymore, due to work, or sucking eachother off.

Okay enough joking


Seriously what I can tell is Ting is going Mid with a good crew and we are going to focus on Hard Core PVP. Fast leveling to 50, Needed (planned) classes with good specific specs. 8 man groups will run most nights except when i make him take out to diner and a Movie

Alb has alot of interest for alot of people who were bored of Mid and wanted a change. Doesn't sound like they are in a Hurry to level or are going to be Hard Core PVP. Sound more casual easy going pace aka if we get 8 on we run kinda thing. Also noticed a few of the people going Alb making comments of them being not on alot becuase of Summer and work and plans. So it sounds like it will be more of a slower pace guild. (not trying to insult anyone here)

Hib I have no clue where it came from other than the pure excitement of wanting to KICK TINGTONG'S ASS heheheh

The boards now have separate forums for DAOC based on where you are playing. Once you decide(if you decide to play) you need to post for access to the baord of the server of you choice. We dont want anyone acused of cross realming or spying.

Either way it will be alot of fun. I loved DAOC when it first came out. Make a nice SC suite get a few questable (camp some band of ice...again) and some Goodies and your all set. This server is based on tactics and strategy. You need to use what your realm has to its advantage to WIN. Each realm can benefit in diffferent ways and those who know how to play/use this the best will win more often.

Ok here's the scope. First I make a reaver, then I kill mids and hibs, then I win. That's pretty much it.

They chose not to go with my suggestions -

Alb - Team WTF, will DAoC be better this time around?

Mid - If Tingtong ever gets a job I'm fucked in this old ass game.

Hib - BWC isnt doing shit so lets check some other shit out

As with their founding father me, it's very sad really.
