Summer Movies

An Avid Fan of the movies coming out every week, here are a few thoughts on movies recent came out and coming attractions:
May:
*Kingdom of Heaven - never saw it. don't want to see it even if Orlando Bloom is in it. Possibly good rental at your local Blockbuster, Hollywood Vid, or Netflix
*Star Wars Episode 3 - Liked it. Brought closure to some outlining storylines from first 2. Not the best of the best Star Wars, I thought number 6 was the best. Yeah I was one of the geeks that saw it at 12 am on May 17 and went to work 2 hours after I saw the movie. 3.5 out of 4 stars
* Madagascar - I have never seen Shrek or Shrek2. I heard its similar to Shrek. I'm not a big fan of DreamWorks animation movies. I think they are trying too hard to compete with Pixar/Disney.
*Longest Yard - Ok movie. If you like a good chuckle, feel good movie, then you'll like it. I would say it's similar to the previous Longest Yard, starring Burt Reynolds. A lot of WWE wrestlers in the movie. Adam Sandler seemed too "bored" in some parts. 2.5 out of 4 stars
Rest of movies like House of Wax, Unleashed, Monster In Law etc are rentals or I will never see.
June:
* Cindrella Man - I'll probably rent it. I think it was a very poor decision to release it in between popcorn movies like Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Star Wars. The movie would have received a much wider audience if it was released in October, November and also in contention for Oscar/Golden Globe nominations.
* Mr. and Mrs. Smith - Saw this movie at 12:00 am. Good movie. Lots of Action. Intense chemistry btw Jolie and Pitt but storyline falls short near end of movie. I know there isn't much closure but I'm sure they had to wing it just so they can get rid of the paparazzi. 3 out of 4 stars
* Batman Returns - I do want to see. Lots of rave reviews about movie. My friend Andrew, one of the biggest comic book Gods I know...and he works at the local comic book store down the street, said it brought back the "real" batman, more in tune with the comic book series. Batman is more realistic, uses senses to fight enemies rather than 1988 Batman using Hollywood special effects.
*War of the Worlds - Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg. Enough said.
Other movies in June : Renting Sisterhood of Traveling Pants fo sho (jeff refused to go to movie with me...). Movies I refuse to see: Herbie Reloaded (Lindsay Lohan needs to eat something, stop fucking tabloid editors to get her name in every magazine in the world, and get her ass kicked by Jessica Simpson.), Bewitched (sorry Nora Ephron...loved You Got Mail but I draw the line to this one), The Perfect Man (hilary duff and heather locklear...this movie seems like something I would watch on Lifetime Movies), and The Honeymooners (just horrible horrible movie)
July :
Movies I want to see-
Charlie and Chocolate Factory : Johnny Depp!
Fantastic Four : Another 12 am movie. Just because it's FAN-tastic.
Stealth - I'm a sucker for action movies. Plus Jamie Foxx is in it
The Island - Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanessen. Another action popcorn movie.
Movies I'll rent :Wedding Crashers, Rebound (with Martin Lawerence) and The Bad News Bears (Billy Bob Thornton, Jolie's Ex) and Jeff will probably see Dark Water or The Devil's Rejects because they are "scary" and "thrilling". I don't like scary movies.
August:
Movies I want to see:
Four Brothers: Interesting story about 4 adopted sons who seek revenge against a gang/mafia who murdered their mother. I like Mark Wahlberg and good support cast.
The Dukes of Hazzard: Another popcorn flick. Sean William Scott aka Stiffler from American Pie is probably the only reason I'll see it.
Possibly rent or see The Cave or Deuce Bigalow
Good scary movies : The Skeleton Key with Kate Hudson and Red Eye with Rachel McAdams
Any picks or thoughts on any other upcoming movies?
