so i been talking with this really hot chic for a bit.. hanging out with her a few times.. today she tells me.. she is hooked on WoW.. and she has been playing for the past 2 weeks.

i don't know how i feel about it.. like i'm a lil turned out that she is a hot gamer.. but also a lil turned off by it.. ya know?

if i had one wish besides money/fame etc etc
its that my girl would play a video game with me so i ddon'tgotta hear the BS that i play so much.. i think you're insane to be turned off by it..hehe

i was a internal alpha tester for WoW before it went into alpha_wave1.. and played for about 6 months before the world.

i got sick of it, and let everyone have access to my account, until someone changed the PW on me (lol). then i just told blizz to ban my account and that was that.

so no.. i don't even play wow.

I understand both sides of the coin here a woman that plays games oh what a gift from the gods it could be. Until you start seeing that you can't get any time away from her. I know of a few people some members of BWC infact that have had girlfriends that were also gamers. A night out for them could mean going to the same insta, hahaha. So far my girlfriend has yet to play and to be honest I realy don't want her to game on the same server as I do if she ever picks it up. Hell she knows where I am at in the living room at my desk playing my damn game. She never bugs me, hell in fact she thinks its great, ie she knows I am not out looking for some other ass, I am at home kicking ass or getting my ass kicked. But at times I wish she would play just so we would have one more thing in common. But I guess for now I will settel for the woman not gaming and not riding my ass about it. Now Rhuac and Littleblur can tell you how it is to have a woman that games in your life.

A day and a wake up till I can game again.

It was fun at first... but it quickly deteriated because my patience eventually wore out

You say that you are a little turned off by it, "ya know". The problem is I don't know ... Just be honest about how she plays a game turns you off. Do you have some stereo type about people that play this game and that some how makes you better? Does her playing this game not fit your mold of what a girl that you would be interested does? You said you are attracted to her, you seem to like her company and share a common interest. If her playing this game is some sort of "deal breaker" ... I just don't see it. The sex will be the same if the chick plays the game or not.

Bulor, I have the exact opposite problem. Here I am a female that enjoys gaming but I have yet to hook up with anyone that games.

On the plus side a date for me means actually going out and talking about things of other interest, but on the downside I have to hear "you gonna be playing that/your game tonight?".

I dunno, I just think it would be cool to game with my sweety.

Sometimes I curse my good friend Neill for ever turning me on to mmorpg's as I was perfectly happy nerding it up one night a week playing D&D. <shakes fist>

well i use to be on the other side of it where i got bitched out all the time for gaming. I really like having a bf that does game and i don't get called idiotic names for gaming anymore. Honestly if you do game even once in a while imo it's better that you have a partner who does it. Because in your down time when you aren't going out and doing things you can game together


and no he doesn't have a hard time getting me off the pc
