OK its about time somebody says something about this in here. There have been some problems in BWC on merlin. Thought i'd fill you all in on whats going on and tell the people involved that it has to change :/

WTF is up, i see some bwc treating other bwc like shit. Elitism is against OTHER guilds, not in our own damn guild. We are a family here and there is no way in hell we should treat anybody differently in this guild.

I personally wittnessed some of this "inter-guild eliteism" and i about lost it. Almost /gc quit i was so upset. BUT as some people are probably saying right now, who are u? who gives a shit if you quit. YOU SHOULD. If you are reading this board, bwc only, you should give a shit cause thats how a guild is supposed to work. I'm soooo tired of all of this too good for my own guild CRAP.

So i come back from a small trip today to find out that we have lost a guildmember. Snodiug left the guild yesterday for those of you who dont keep up to date on this situation. He left because of all of this shit. Some guildies did the same thing to him as they did to me. ANd im sure you know who you are. And to top it off, he says FUCK IT to that situation and decides to do something else, and it happened again. I know exactly how he felt. He was fed up and actually had the balls to /gc quit. GOOD FOR HIM - i say, im glad he had the courage to leave, i just wish he could have told you all how you made him feel. Cause if i ever left, you all would have an earful from me.

I expect some replies to this message, however i dont expect anything to change ingame. BWC has its hot shots who are on top and wont let anybody else do anything with them cause we arnt good enough. Been in the guild for a longass time, but apprently not good enough. And if it doesnt change, i will end up leaving and i know others will leave as well. Which is really sad really, cause this guild used to be soo much fun , we had so much togetherness. I dont know what happened.....what a shame.

The core of BWC is not going to change, anyone that stays in the guild long enough knows very well that they will be told to stfu or to fuck off or to go suck Dwayne's knob at least one time [all three have happened to me btw lol], but most likey more than once.

The thing is you just have to shrug it off and move on. Ask yourself if the majority of the guild are players that you truly enjoy and if it weighs out that way, stay. Thats what I do. But if the majority of the guild are players you dislike for whatever reason, then leaving seems the right choice.

You cant allow the players who take the game entirely to serious to get to you. You are not going to find 100% unity in any guild, I dont care how they declare "we are a family bullshit". Personalities clash and will continue to do so, part of life.

I know you and Snod are good friends in game and personally I like the guy, he is cool in my book, but if he took it upon himself to leave the guild without voicing his concerns or talking to an officer, or at the very least coming here and posting his experiences and how it was making him feel, then thats his choice.

I have never known anyone to get booted from this guild for speaking their mind, even if that slice of their mind was directly served to the leaders or officers of the guild. [again, personal experiences]

Some people do have a tendency to go way overboard and yes, lines that shouldnt be crossed are crossed. However, if someone treats you badly and you dont speak up for yourself you only empower said people into thinking they have the right to mistreat you.


Long story short [ as if there is ever a short story where Im concerned] maybe Snod should take the time to talk to someone like Josh who as far as I know has never over stepped his place in the guild with anyone.

Well, there was this one time when we first came to BWC that he told me to meet him at Hagall and said I had to ......... but thats another story.

I don't know what happened last night, but I know I've grouped with Snod nearly every night for the past month or so and he's a good player and a good person. The guild does not benefit from losing him.

Plus I like typing his name. It's fun.

Ok this is what happened and i'm sure its been on the officer boards on this site, but it really really ticked me off and i'm obviously still not over it.

THe instance i was fucked over:

Celest and Bjark were in a grp with these new guys Lifeguard and Thurjblahblah (wtfever his name is) and there was a few of us bwc tagging along, since it looked mainly bwc rvr squad. didn't seem to be a problem Anyways there was myself, bulor on his skald, thangore on his healer, joshll, drothin and ganedar. Almost everybody was on teamspeak group 2 didn't have a voice in TS, we could only hear. Anyways we hear these guys bitching saying, "oh why do we have 1/2 grp following us, we dont need these guys " etc etc but being the awesome guildies they are....let us stay...somewhat.

They get us to head to emain, order us to take a tower since we had some rams. Fine. Great. Fun. They then say, oh, we're gonna circle around to make sure we don't have any INC. And even before we finish taking this tower, they ML10 Sojourner they way back to MID and ditch us. Ditch the 6 guildies . How fucked up is that? Oh we ended up dieing and logging out of utter D I S G U S T (dont mind me writing it like that, everytime i'd wite it normally, i'd get this stupid icon .)

Now i know this was discussed in /os boards here on bwc boards and i know it was stated that Celest and Bjark didn't like the idea of ditching us. Thanks guys, BUT i know celest was leading u guys and i know anybody who is in their right mind will do what she says and if she said, NO we cant ditch these guys, they wouldn't have ditched us. I know she didnt want to and i know bjark didnt want to. Thats my point. Its these new guys and i'm not afraid to say it on here.

Word around town about these two doesn't look good. ( I had to ask around cause i hadn't heard of them before) But from as far as i heard and saw, i know i do not care for their playing styles and interguild elitist shit and refuse to grp with either of them whatsoever - made that clear on an arti' encounter we were supposed to do in the same group.

OH OH OH before i forget - i don't have good play time hours because i am a mother who takes care of my kids, and share the comp with my bf, SOO i log on, ask for rvr grps etc etc all the time. However one particular day, BEFORE all of this shit went down. I log on as usual, ask for rvr grp..ok they're full..NP i'll wait around. Next thing u know, they add thjurblahblah who said LFG in /gu like 10min after i did. How jacked is that? Guess i wasn't good enough.

Anyways back business, as for snodiug goes - yes, we are close friends and i know why he left the guild. He is tired of not getting guild rvr grps. he doesn't like their elitist attitude and not feeling good enough.Getting booted from a grp he was in beforehand isn't cool. OK i wasn't there but this is what he told me - they were running a good grp, people had to leave so they left. Then a few min later Celest says she's getting another grp together, invites snod and somehow snod is 3rd healer and they run it like that - but they didn't have enough dmg output. SO they tell him to disband so they could get a caster. I mean omg comon! totally jacked imo.

THose are the things that piss me off and i know i'm not the only one who feels this way about certain people and how the merlin crowd is going about this is even worse. Acting like nothing is wrong when its so damn obvious.

I didn't like how it went down that night either, but one night doesn't make a trend. Because I'm mostly playing my hunter and shelving the shaman, I'm not grouping much lately and don't know how typical that is.

Is this an ongoing issue? Is it common that we've got guildies snubbing other guildies?

I don't want to lose Chardoa, or Snod, or any of the other long time members. But I also don't want people to think they can't run gank groups. I'm not personally caught up in the whole epeen gotta be 8 and only 8 thing. In my personal opinion, if we've got 1g, 1.5g or 2g of BWC rolling together thats a good thing. And if your alb nemesis calls you a zerger for a night, tough shit, because who's more important? Your guild or your opponents?

We are friends first and foremost imo. If people are busting up those friendships and making people feel isolated, we don't need them.

In regards to Sno Chard, I have invited him to RVR and my group NUMEROUS Times to get denied, or doing pve, or I'm coming, and he never comes...

To be honest, this was happening before I left to play WoW beta. One group would form the perfect group with 2 healers a shaman and tons of damage output, then they would throw everyone else into a second group with my skald. I guess it's gone even further now that people are becomming even worse RP whores in a DYING GAME! I mean jesus christ people, your RPs aren't going to mean shit in WoW, very few people respect DAoCers in WoW, the only thing that is going to matter in WoW, is the friendships you have here, and the cohesion of your guild. And lord knows if you go the EQ2 route, the only thing you are going to be hearing when you say "I used to play daoc" is people saying "wow, I'm really sorry." (which has happened to me in WoW beta already by at least 3 really good players).

I think it's time for some people to put their fucking thinking caps on and realize these games are about fun with friends, not being RP whoring asshats. Remember people, when you have problems in real life, your friends (even the ones online as I have recently discovered) will be there for you, your fucking RPs won't be.
