After DAoC?

We are far from done with DAoC, so this is not a ditch DAoC thread. To be honest it would be an embarrassment to leave now without making a good showing. I was wondering what everyone's focus is as far as a next game? We have a solid core to launch into whatever we feel is the next gaming addiction. Shadowbane, SWG and AC2 are the next to come out. After playing two out of the three and hearing shit about SWG my hopes are all but being placed in WoW. To make it even beter WoW may be up to two years away, although I hear most likely sooner.

I've heard some people (snot) say they enjoyed SB. Thats due out in a couple months, i'll definitely check it out (why not?).
AC2 came out a couple months ago, I tried playing AC2, but i sucked ass.
SWG probably will not be launched till Christmas, almost a year from now. I enjoyed the depth of EQ, and look forward to playing this game too.
All we really need to do is agree on a server (or faction, whatever) when these games come out, and things will sort themselves out eventually.

I accidentally bought the pre-release package (lmao) thought it was production early access.
I'd be interested in checking SB out myself.
Any ideas of release dates?

March 25th~
Costco I bought the pre-release as well, hehe. It counts towards the full version game purchase and allows you to start with restricted races.

So how is it?

I did not care for it much in early beta, but the server was down sooo much. They also had random tree of life (kind of like DAoC bind stones)binding. The game has much improved though bro. Character generation r0x and the guild structure is extremely well planned. The graphics are sub par and I still would like to see a server stay up with 3k p33ps on it.

I personally would like to keep Planetside an option. It sounds pretty sweet - a blend of FPS and MMORPG. Interesting concept, and the way it's set up looks like fun. I'm actually a lot better at FPS games than RPG's

. But i enjoy playing RPG's more so it just may be a nice blend.

I've been following PlanetSide for a long time and if they live up to their promises, its gunna be one kick ass game...HOWEVER be advised its not an MMORPG more like the first MMOFPS....you gain experience but only in a select few skills, weapons, and vehicles
