Noobish question regarding stealthers

All over the rogue boards people talk about using Heat legendary weapons against alb and hib stealthers (both archers and assassin types)

I was just wondering why?

Do they have an inherent weakness to heat weapons? or do they just skimp on heat resists?

Just wanted to know why heat LW would be better than my belt of sun sword before I dropped 7 plat for a 99 qual one in housing.

Also, any thoughts on a battlemaster hunter? I messed up on choice after i finished ml1 and went BM, but lately i've been thinking how good a bg or grappler would be in a stealth group.

Can grappled people be hit with arrows?

Man I'm bored at work today............

it does more dmg vs their armor type.

all armor has an inherent strength or weakness against certain elemental damage. its meaningless for DDs, since they don't target individual body parts. But it was a big deal for bolts. Now that legendary weapons are in the game, they're affected too.

In general, Energy weapons do the most overall damage and have zero weaknesses vs any armor type. Vs stealther armor in specific, i suppose since everyone is yelling about heat weapons, that they're weak to heat dmg.

i don't have the chart on hand, you'll have to google for it.

I have heat/cold wpns for my sb mainhand and traitors offhand. heat is for leather(assasins/friars) and cold is for everyone else. Spirit is neutral to all btw.
