Law told me to post on these boards in response to his WoW invitation.

I will play with you guys when WoW is released, I don't have anyone else to play with and I probably won't be able to track my in-game friends to WoW.

I didn't get into beta, but I will play with you guys when WoW goes live.

I appreciate the invitation and look forward to WoW RvRing with you and leading some raids (if RvR ends up pseudo-daoc)

I will be passing on WoW probably unless you guys have rave reviews 2 months after release ...I think I will check out Guild Wars but sadly come December when DAoC and L2 run out I think I may be done with online games...

I dunno how many times i've said that.

I have played maybe 2 hours of DAoC like more than 2 weeks ago and 2 hours of L2 a few nights ago...I just don't wanna login to play...leveling anything just sucks ass and I am tired of feeling like I am wasting my life in the fuggin house behind a computer...that is why I think I will like Guild Wars it seems to be a game kinda like how D2 was where you do not have to sell your soul to a game to have fun.

MMORPG's aren't conterstrike or Medal of Honor or that shit.

They are designed as a form of entertainment. IF you feel it's ever a waste of your life then you need to realize the game isn't fucking fun.

When I play a MMORPG and I LIKE it, it's in my nature to compete and to become the best that I can. When I look back at it I will never feel like I wasted my life away to a game, because when I played it; it was always fucking fun up until the time I quit. I will always thrive to be better then anyone else in anything I do, it's in our human nature.

Personally. if Lineage 2 had a awesome PvP system I would still be playing it right now. Lets face it, L2 is one of the hardest MMORPG's EVER in terms of leveling ladders. BUT if they had a KICK ASS PvP system I would still be playing it.

Why?

When I spend 20hrs on a weekend leveling my toon knowing that it would take someone else JUST as long to do what I did. It really is what keeps me motivated to play in a grinding situation. Grinding is never FUN in any MMORPG, but if the end game is REALLY worth it.. then why not? Why not be the best?

What I really liked about lineage 2 is it would take your 6 months of hardcore grinding to achieve end game. How long now days does it take to make a level 50 in DAOC 2-3days? I tell yea one thing their wouldn't be and FOTM classes in L2, thats for fuckign sure... You would play your class or quit. Rerolling isn't a option if you want to play end game.

I remember spending 20hrs farming materials in L2 to have the first Sammuri Logsword... and after 20hrs of farming fucking non-stop (and I mean non-stop) I was 1/10th to my goal AND it was NOT even the best weapon in game..... it was NOT even close to being the best weapon. I had that attitude of being #1 and having the best shit in-game. But when they let ebay farmers make adena so cheap. It was WORTH paying some chink $10 for 40hrs of work. (sorry I hate chineese people in that game, they all need to die IRL)
