Music topic...

Postby Beratuul » Fri Jan 24, 2003 2:25 am

I don't know what everyone listens to, but playing winamp and listening to MY music is a must when playing any video game. If I wanted to hear fairies screaming, I'd rent Hook.

Hed [pe] just got a new cd out, and its fucking off the chain. KmK's put out some shit in September and its tight too.

Whats everyone listen to? I'm mostly into progressive rock.

-Finch
-Downside
-OnesideZero
-TheUsed
-TheJuliaTheory - their good shit, they put out some soft crap too.
-Trapt
Casper, Svenegal, Tassadar, Maurs, Maurier, Perigrine, Du Maurier ( I go by these names).

My shit tastes like corn.

well im into uplifting and progressive trance and a little house music.

check out a mix i made with some new vinyls i got in

http://hauntedzorz.homestead.com/files/yea.zip

i tweaked my technics to play at +15% instead of normal +8% pitch so i was just screwing around playing the records very very fast ;]
like the last minute or so its at like +12%

http://hauntedzorz.homestead.com/files/mix.zip

Operation Ivy's album "Energy" is my favorite album of all time.
Common Rider has some good stuff also - it's Jesse Michaels (singer of op ivy) new band.

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are indeed amazing. some serious talent in that band - oysterhead is also good stuff

go to http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/405/wel ... james.html

to hear a crappy band i play in. we really suck, but have tons of fun.
(get "Mr. Tough Guy" "Exit Hiatus and then what" and "Mustard" - don't bother w/ the live ones they are crappy - and download them for best quality rather than stream them)

i'm also in a jazz combo that is very cool. we do really experimental jazz

also The Gun Club is a great band - i highly reccomend them

I was at a Seether, and Finger Eleven concert on Saturday, they fucking owned all..

I didn't think Seether would rock that hard, but they did.

OLP was headlining, not a big fan, kinda hate them, but, they played older songs like Naveed and Starseed. Problem was, we called them Our Lady Piss, cause by the time they got on stage, we had to pee every second song, which wasn't bad, because they are OLP.

Fun though. Hot chicks always make a concert better, especially when they're drunk.

I hope Hed[Pe] and Saliva come to either Seattle or Vancouver.
Casper, Svenegal, Tassadar, Maurs, Maurier, Perigrine, Du Maurier ( I go by these names).
