After 2.5 years of nothing but daoc, I need a break. And there are finally some decent games to try. I'll be doing mostly shooters, UT2004 and Enemy Territory, but may do some Lineage 2 as well (though the jury is still out on that game for me).

I'll probably be back in a month.

I've got Joshll up on Ebay for an exorbinant amount. If he sells fine, I'll buy a healer off ebay and come back as that, and if not, he's all set for frontiers.

Come play Lineage2. It's not the greatest game, but it does have it's strong points. For me it's a rush knowing that you can be killed at anytime, although so far very little PKing is going on. Guess people don't want to suffer the reprecussions.

I think clan vs. clan later on in the game could be very fun.

I will be back, I just don't know what kind of char I want to buy. With that kind of money, I can buy 2 accounts, and still get new shocks for my car. (And Mrs. Cavedropping's can't say a word! hehe)

don't buy someone elses account. start fresh...

you can plevel to 50 in a solid week(or 2 weeks if you slack like me). basiclly you can hit 50 in 48 hours played time.

all you need is 1 SM + Alt (you can ask a fellow guildie for access to the plevel bot sinfle) or do OOG healer (with powerward) + alt (this option is by far the best.. you don't have to do much, and the group stays alive for the longiest) and you get to go AFK for most of the xp grind =).

i'm gonna get my shammy to ml5 aswell (so i can really slack off with powerward). aug shammy + power ward = no work other then buffing!, you don't have to stun anything.. heal anything.. just hang back and relax!

i would liek to take this moment to tank Zoid for access to sinfle for my lieph leveling days!

i also wanna thank gund for Power Ward botting =) i got 3 alts in the works becuase of that ward =), Skald(46), SM(29, can easily be 50), SB(35.. and gonna stay there for a bit)(always need a SB!).

Take care Josh, I've been taking an un-official break myself actually but recently missing DAOC so may pop in this week and at least get my ML's done.

I think L2 fascination will end soon and RVR expansion will re-inject some life in DAOC hopefully long enough for us to move to WoW.

As Bulor mentioned my 50 SM is always available if you want to start a fresh char.

Sorry to see you go Joshll. One of the best shammies on Merlin no doubt about it. I can't believe someone will pay 900$ for a DAOC account. That just blows my mind. Anyways, best of luck to you in all your future gaming ventures! I'm sure you will kick ass in any game you choose to play!
