Anyone want to consider New Orleans instead of Vegas?
Daemic and I went there in November and had a blast. Better than Vegas by far imho. Casino's are in N.O. also, so you can still gamble.

Just a thought. I'd still go to Vegas.

OH and D....more drunk bitches there for you to get "stains" from.

We have to go to Vegas this year,... but for next year, we can take N.O. into offer :)...

Vegas will be cheap this year too.

Vegas is one of the cheapest places to go in the US. Flights are subsidized (although not nearly as much as it was prior to the summer of 2001) by the casino's...it is about 50-75% of the cost to go to Vegas vs LAX, despite LAX having more flights going into it yet being the same relative distance.

If you avoid the hotels on the strip, you can stay in a hotel for <40$/night. If you play any games you can get free dinners via comps.

Of course, all that said we stayed on the strip, paid to eat at the expensive places, etc. The point stands that it can be cheap. Heck, there is even a web site, vegas for 1$ a day or something like that.

Hey Kea. Dan (Pytt) and I are all about Marty Gras next year. Are you close enough for us to camp out and would you and yours mind if the two of us grabed some flor space? I doubt we will spend much time outside of the party itself ~

Well Law, we live in Michigan, so were not close at all.
Do you mean this Mardi Gras? 2004?
Were planning to go to Jazz Fest which is in April. Not sure what days tho. I guess Mardis Gras right now is just full of MTV brats, from what we heard from bartenders/poeple we met. That doesn't sit well with me (i hate drunk amatuers). Jazz Fest is 25+ mostly. Not as crowded and still a blast.

However, that doesn't rule out never going to Mardi Gras tho :D
