Does anybody use Gamevoice here? Was just wondering because the Gamevoice servers have been down for like 3-4 days now, I THINK.


Trying to verify if that is causing the trouble I am having or not. Me and the other person I usually talk to on GV just can't connect. We have checked everything. I am pretty sure it's the GV server thing, even their forums are down.



Anyone?

Get Teamspeak from teamspeak.org

Its a freeware and alot better than GV. Use it in LV and the sound is as gr8 as it can get

While I was playing on Guin as my infil we used TeamSpeak almost exclusively. Which sucks for people that aren't in it because people talking tend to forget to relay information to chat. I was going to ask if BWC had a designated server ip for TS, and if not, maybe it's something we could look into doing?

Playing as my infil it was very effective to be able to call off targets and watch as others assisted in a timely manner. It was almost as if I were in actual combat (minus my body being there).

It is also an effective tool in PvE. Think of how quick casters can assist tanks instead of waiting through the lag. Or reversely imagine how quickly a peeler could get aggro off of the casters.

To me TS is a very effective tool, and we could only benefit from using it.

Oh and if we already have TS set up, ignore me, but post the IP for me please.

Phishbones SWG guild is hosting our Teamspeak server. We used Warcats Ventrillo for Planitside and are using TS for DAoC. We do not have anything here but if you get the tech. heads together we may be able to get something going.
