have we tried to recruit them for our alliance in the past?

their alliance seems to be full of dead guilds at this point, or at the least guilds who aren't rvring. dallius is now their active GM and has been recruiting people and has stated his goal is to make TF an active rvr guild now. this week they have about 8 people bringing in about 90k rps each, which is a lot more than TF has been doing in the past few months.

anyway with midgard in a slump and our alliance numbers dwindling the last few weeks i think it would be wise for someone to see if dallius is interested in TF joining the BWC alliance.

tf is huge... and chances are if they ever do return to merlin, that TF annoying zerg will come with it, and into our /as..

so i'm against them joining the /as, unless they reform the guild under a new name so that they can instant filter out the clutter.

About TF, I have no idea. Grognar and Dallius are complete opposites so I really do not have a feel for them with their new GM. Their open recruiting policy would have to change before we could ever allow them to have access to these boards.

I've been a long timer Merliner so my opinions are somewhat colored by histlory.

Historically TF has not been an RVR guild or alliance, though Grognar did lead RVR things about a year ago and longer when he was still active.

Dallius has always seemed to have very strong emain ties. It's very rare to see him at any sort of keep taking or retaking. I've seen him in Odins a couple of times lately so maybe thats changing.

The TF alliance has historically been very loose. People from that alliance are much more used to being able to spam the alliance chat (i.e. Dark Wanderers).

you are right about dallius and emain. he also seems concerned about not zerging way too much, even after his grp is rolled by 3+ full groups of hibs like 4 times in a row

heh, i think we were all x-Tf ppl, i know it was the first guild i ever joined.. and i ditched it the second i died in vendos, and a tf healer with a few other tf members, walked over my warriors body and didn't even concider rezing...

TF mentality is basilly the same as the counter-strike community mentaily.
