This merger was going to happen over the past two months, and just took some time.

I will be and the officers will be clearing about people from Old BWC, new BWC, and ED folks that just don't work out once PVP begins.

There will be rules set in once that happens, such as the 10 day REMOVE rule.

If this complaining and BS keeps up, you'll find a small # of us gone then, and you can deal with it.

WoW controls itself for now, and you can help control where the guild does and what we do.

If you don't like it, leave.. pretty damn simple.

We were not going to be a guild that required the whole guild to raid instances. Participation was not going to be mandatory. So... that means either the guild gets much larger or guild only instance raids were going to be rare once the long time 60's had their gear and had burned themselves out on all the old instances. This move makes it more likely for lowbies to group, and all levels to have a better chance to instance raid with a guildy.

Life goes on. Whats done is done. Lets see what happens.

yea, the problem with wow is they have this entire tier of content that BWC could not do alone.

I mean, how deep have you guys gotten into MC? How many times have you guys killed Onyxia? How many times have you guys resorted to PUGs to get things accomplished?

I also know that D isn't as hardcore as he might have been at one time. Kim is only 1 person, who gets overextended as the only priest. It's sad that a heads up wasn't made more clear, since it's obviously coming as a surprise to everyone, but the bottom line is that, the merger was done to benefit the guild, not hurt the guild. The ED people, from what I've heard, are competant, friends from Merlin, and bring new groups and manpower which BWC was lacking. They're bringing new leaders, and hopefully, with the increased manpower, can get more things accomplished than BWC could on its own. We all know that things almost always depend on D or Cele to happen. Hopefully not anymore.

Try to look at the merger with an open mind though, and see how things turn out. If there's major drama regarding the new ED members, if things aren't working out, just let an officer know, and they'll bring it up with the other officers. I think you'll find though, more groups forming, more raids happening, etc. Hopefully it's not like CoE. Remember CoE was basically like open enrollment, and we couldn't vouch for half the guild, because we ended up getting friends of friends of friends of friends of friends joining.... but even in that chaos, look, we made a lot of friends that are still with BWC today. guys like me, eirene, jay/chamcham, rhuac, etc never guilded before the invite madness that was CoE.

Hopefully things will be better this time around though. You're taking in 1 family, not 25 different ones. Try to make it work =)



Appendix A:

CoE was Council of Elders, the craptastic but fun guild we made on Andred. There was a point where every one in the guild had invite power. We merged with lots of guilds.. Eirene's gulid, House of Sagacious, and others, all merged in. Public invite power finally was capped at 80, but we still allowed friends of friends to join, etc... finally topped out at 250 members. It then ended in chaos as the average person in guild knew on avg 2 other people.. the guy who invited him, and maybe another friend. So you literally had 70 different cliques in the guild. You can basically guess where that went =)

For you all that don't know me, I played alot of DAOC with all the NEW BWC, OLD BWC, AND GOOD PEEPS in between.

When BWC was started back in the day as the chillest fucking guild in DAOC with Cryhavoc and Ratpick... When COE merged and we completely raped Merlin leading in almost every catagory consistantly...and now, when you guys have taken BWC across a world to WOW.... one thing has remained constant...

That mother fker Elfdroper has killed me by agro through all the controversy and change, RELENTLESSLY like drunken monkey slapping a bulldog.

I came into BWC right before the merger. There was Aalto, me, Law, etc. Then the CoE boys (and ladies) showed up and boom, DOMINATION! If this merger can be half of that, it will be a good thing.

In regards to ED, I like them, and I like having them around- lots easier to find ppl (PRIESTS!!!!!) to go on things with! Only thing I think is some basic rules being established and whatnot....
