I remember him on MLF. He was some Mid PVE god whatever. He never RvRed. He creates PVE/RVR radar programs hehe.

He got a 3 day ban (1 week appealing to CSRs) after he went to emain once and started spamming in broadcast on where to download his program.

They start doing that and they'll have to pay off every pimply-faced mouth-breather trying to grow his epenis by finding cheats because its the only way he can feel like a winner in life.

This asshat can justify it however he wants, but he made a cheat program and he offers it to cheaters, so he's scum, IMO.

If he's so altruistic, why is he trying to make people download it? If he was such a "great guy" why is he offering the thing and trying to sell it in game FFS? He got banned because his last name was an advertisment for his fucking program, if that's not the sign of a truly bitter person, I don't know what is.

He's sour grapes because they wouldn't give him the money he wanted, so he's trying to ruin the game for people that didn't spend hours in thier mother's basement fapping to furry porn as they searched desperately for a way to get an upper hand in an online environment where you don't need one if you are actually capable of making friends.

I understand what you are saying regarding the switches, but I don't see how they could do that without having to change the way they test their own stuff and do CS.

Most of these "light-switch" abilities are the same things that they use to test stuff internally and that the CSR's use to fly around the game.

If they close the openings in one place or on live servers, they'll just have to open it somewhere else or they won't be able to test stuff once it goes on a live server and the CSR's won't be able to fly around in game, etc.

If the argument is that they should only have the features available on the in-house client, that isn't an option. We all have seen how badly things can go on a patch day and how differently things that work on Pendragon can fail once they go live, so they have to be able to do these things on live servers.

Also, I did read the thread in its entirety and I think that the method that Capnbry states is only one way to stop the hacks. And further, that method is invalidated by what I've just stated. So is Mythic arrogant for not listening to him? Or is he arrogant because he just assumes his fix is the only one.

I submit that his continued release of this shit is in fact sour grapes. His fix is not a viable one, but he chooses to see it as arrogance on Mythic's part because he cannot see the negative side to his own "fix."

its preferred amongst a lot of radar people because it draws the radar on screen... capnbry's version needs windowed mode, unless you've figured out how to do it with the xml hooks.
