Hey Mourning, tell Winke sup from Lawdog. And of course whaddup to you too mang. I think Mike Holmgren is out at the end of the year bro. A sad end to an accomplished (Future HoF perhaps x2 SB Champs) head coach but he just has not delivered like he did in Green Bay. He hung his hat on Hasselbeck a...

Hi from Joshll

BWC & Friends, Hihi hi from Joshll! Dumbass me, I hooked up to play WAR with some work friends. We're on Monolith. Still having fun, but looking for my crew. My char is named Strayv. As I told the guys, I'm still looking for my leader. Celestrials and Gundorfs are hard to find! If you were going...

I read an interview with Sony's president who pretty much said PS3 was christmas 2006. So still a year away. He did imply they were trying to target the $300 range, which is much much lower than analysts have projected. Pretty good article on the current complexity and expense of game development on...

Well Carmack is just lazy. The hardware industry has moved to multiple processors/cores. The gaming industry needs to move as well. It's this simple. Whichever platform is easier to write games for will have more games. And that platform will win the next round of console wars. Not to be skeptical ...

I read a John Carmack industry speech where he said he had the early hardware for both, and that the xbox360 was magnitudes easier to code for. He said the PS3 was aimed at hugely multithreaded apps, which hasn't been games in the past and it was difficult to code multithreaded games. His opinion wa...

Is it just my limited experience or do PUG'S hardly even exist anymore on Merlin? I never see people in Uppland looking for group. So without a guild and alliance, it's hard to find a decent group. Svoda wasn't open to adding BWC to their alliance. Too many other dead guilds with no people on she sa...

I like the no TOA servers. I like that the top players don't have 50 iwin tricks up their sleeves. Classic servers are simpler, and individual characters not as strong. It's a good thing, except the SOS dynamic like you said. Specially vs hibs who with 2 bards are guaranteed SOS virtually every figh...

imo, the Holy Rollers are dead. Not enough critical mass to keep it going. We can debate the why's, but the bottom line is we never had enough people ready to RVR together at any point in time. A guild can have some casual players, but a small guild cannot all be casual. I'll ding Zuse R5 this week,...

BWC on Merlin

I may play some Merlin. Joshll is still in BWC, and always will be, even if it's just me. I don't mind being the lone guildy online, but I'd like to at least have an alliance to know whats going on. I think I'm going to talk to the MDOM alliance, and see if I can get BWC in there. Any objections? An...

I'm perfectly happy paying Holden. As he said it was major farming to get there. Anyone with a Legendary crafter is loony imo. ;) 300g per piece is still a bargain imo 2) If you give someone something for free, they abuse it. By charging a small amount, people will take the time to get it right. Oth...
