Unfortunately, the answer is "not much". You could host sites for people, but that won't get you much.

The only other options I can think of are host a game server (either free shard, or FPS server), or run your own porn site!

I believe that you need your own Exchange server to do the shared calenders, not sure who your email provider is, but they might be able to provide more info, maybe they would let you do it on their server? Another great alternative is Google Calenders. We use it at home, and have it set to our back...

Roll what you want. Doing something stupid like an all tank/healer group is just setting yourself up for fail. If thats what happens, you'll have a fun month of rolling everything, only to be horribly neutered when they nerf tanks and/or healers. If thats whats been going on in the other games, that...

20 - 30 years is pretty hard to look at. Real Estate is a risk, no matter how you cut it. With rising energy costs, increasing climate concerns, increased amount of people not having children, and the fact that younger generations don't seem to want to leave the city, it might actually be a bad choi...

I think what he is looking for is a turn based strategy game that you play with people around the world.

Dawn of War and Civ4 Beyond the Sword are both Real Time Strategies, although Civ4 does have that engine that allows you to turn it into a quasi turn based strategy game.

Hmm, Do you have the fans plugged in correctly? Most modern motherboards will shut down if they think you don't have enough cooling. Make sure your CPU fan is plugged into the CPU fan socket. A few other tricks: Try w/ 1 gig RAM, then the other. It doesn't sound like RAM, but that might narrow it do...

Problem with 2. is that people have changed, at least their use of time. Back in the day, I had hours to play MMORPGS, and would play 6-8 a day. If I were to play now, I'd be the guy you wouldn't want in your guild, only playing a couple hours a week and spamming chat with newb questions. Every guil...

Been hearing good things about WAR.

Looks like they are DAoC'ing it, with the addition of RvR etc.

No more MMORPGs for me though.

Haha,

I had forgotten about your project till I saw the new post.

I was going to write back and let you know that a 500 gb hard drive is probably $100, and you've just spent a few days trying to save maybe 100 gb :)
