Isn't DRM controlled by the output device, ie, monitor or TV?

Pretty sure if you aren't running a DRM capable player, using a DRM enabled output device, you are screwed, so at least with Vista, you can watch the content somewhat. If you stick w/ XP, you won't be able to watch any of it.

(until they hack it, which might take 10 seconds)

not concerned about DRM. Any non-techie will have trouble. But it's the same as Decss was with DvD copy's. /shrug

I always wait atleast a year after Microsoft releases a new OS before I start using it. Given the increased overhead (that comes with every new version of windows) I'll probably wait till I get my next machine.
