You use a program that can make them. Not all GIF's are animated.

you can save any image as a .gif but it is generally used for cartoon not real life images. The only program i know of to make animated .gifs is imageready which is a part of photoshop.

Microsoft GIF animator and Ifranview is what I use and they were free on teh internets! ^_^

I've used MS Gif Animator many years ago... but I stick with ImageReady now.

I wanted to do a hammer time thing where when he dances then stops then my little white face i have as an avatar pops up and speech bubble with "WTF" pops up with it. would that be hard to do want to do it for a friend's bday present and also myself hah
