Serra is a good fighter, but it did look like GSP slipped a couple times and Serra got lucky. Wonder how Serra will do defending his new title.

I'm still in shock.

Going into it I knew Serra had a punchers chance but in the end it still surprised me.

GSP seemed a bit jittery at the start too which didn't help but can't take anything away from Serra for his win.

Hughes was grinning at the end of it ... think he hates GSP hehe.

Yea if you told be Serra was going to knock out GSP standing up I would have thought you had no idea wtf you were talking about. The fights have been crazy lately. The belt should be a free for all now between Koscheck, Hughes, GSP and D. Sanchez. Serra is a nice guy but I think that belt is getting striped soon.

i been in love with serra from the ultiamate fighter :comeback, he had great leadership skill, and was so very technical.

i'm glad he took it to GSP, even tho he wont hold it, GSP will take it back, but damn good job serra!

Serra is a stand up guy ... at least from what I saw in UF4 series. Nice to see this guy get a little taste of fame.

All the divisions are pretty much stacked with talent with the PRIDE acquisition so I suspect we'll see more belts changing hands this year ... possibly numerous times :)

I would put my money on Chuck as he's not only been continuously getting better the past 3 years but he is the smarter fighter and has fully trained in most disciplines including wrestling. Most people see Chuck standing during his fights and that's because he's an excellent wrestler and has the best take down defence in the UFC. He's the most serious fighter I've seen next to Couture.

Jackson is strong and again has a punchers chance like the GSP-Serra fight. He's not schooled in any particular fighting style but is more of a pure brawler. Problem is Chuck is a cool ring veteran and will most likely not let himself get clocked with a Jackson haymaker (unlike GSP with Serra).

Both prefer stand-up so I suspect it will be a slugfest. Jackson is known for slamming opponents as well but I'd be surprised if he gets a chance to do that on Chuck. Chuck will do his usual cautious circling landing and countering with those awkwardly thrown haymakers and as soon as Jackson' winces in pain or attempts to cover up it will be like a machine gun flury for the finish; as we've seen in his Tito fights.

Also I just wonder if Jackson's chin can withstand Chuck's punching power. If he has a chin this thing will go 5 rounds but I suspect Chuck will finish him by the 3rd round ... or possibly a 1st round knockout if Jackson is not prepared.

It will be fun to watch on May 26 :)

Looks like Hughs vs Serra..

Kos vs GSP..

So, Hughs vs GSP number 3 probs.

Still in shock, yo.

Hopefully Cro Crop will get a shot vs Couture after the Brawl for All or whatever. Looks like some good bouts.
