I log into teamspeak and everyone starts freaking out that I am causing some freaky echo to all, I have no clue why.. it happens even when I dont speak, all I have to be is there

do you have it on "all-talk" (cant remember the name of the option)?
You can bind a key so you can press and talk, the other option is to have the mic always recieving sound.
Sorry dont have a more detailed explanation.. dont have TS on my work computer

the problem rhia is that your mic is picking up the audio from your speakers. you need to move the mic away from the speakers, turn down the sound, or both. or just go and get a nice set of headphones with a mic
EDIT: You can also just listen to us by muting your microphone. Atleast then you arent left out when we are talking about ingame stuff
EDIT EDIT: That goes for everyone else too. If you dont have a mic you should still get teamspeak so you can hear whats goin on.

I am using headphones <bonks Barbos>
My headphones are no where near my speakers and I do have a decent set of headphones that have a mic

I have gotten to the point where I can tell who yuo guys are by your voices. Ting keeps you all on speakers so I hear everything.
Gundorf sounds liek a girl
Rhia has a high pitch voice and giggle
Celestrial is a deeep sexy mature voice like she could be a late night radio host for After Hours Dark or something

Here is how to fix your problem with the echo.
On TS go into Settings, Sound Input/Output settings and then make sure where it says..
Voice Send Method
that you have this on Push to talk and NOT Voice Activation.
That is probably 100% of your problem. All you have to do is move the dot to push to talk, then hit Set button and select a key you don't use in game at all or a lot and you should be good to go.
Here is how to fix your problem with the echo.

Dont know who you are hearing Menage cause I havent been able to participate with any conversations 
And my voice is no where near being high coupled with a giggle, I have been told entirely too many times that I have a 1-900 [use your imagination here] type of voice.
I think maybe you are hearing Adida .. or it could be one of the guys <ducks and runs>

I plugged the microphone wire [one with pic of mic (glares at Barbos)] into the mic connection of my sound card, but then .. and this is most likely where my problem lay ... there is no option for me to plug in the wire for the headphones themself, my old pc had an option for both, my new one does not so I have no clue where to put it.
The other night I was plugging it in here and there and attempting to be heard to no avail.
my soundcard is a geforce 4.
