I played on Xev for years [originally hailed from Povar till server split] with our guild Harmonium.

I sold my account after wanting to log after being logged in for 5 minutes. Everything there worth killing [that drops anything worth getting] takes 60+ people and 3+ hours to then divide 3-5 pieces of loot between the 60 or so that went on said raid.

EQ is a total pissing contest and with every new zone or expansion what was godly becomes crap.

There is no end game, there is no high end game.

did I mention key quests?

No thankies.

Flip: if you are gonna stay with it and want me to hook you up with some Harm people [their recruitment level minimum may be 60 if not 65 now] let me know. The GMs are very good friends of mine.

Have fun! =)

You were with Harmonium, wicked sick...Were you friends with Curt Shilling(sp) the Red Sox pitcher?

I'm pretty sure they are super hardcore now, ie, lvl 65 no questions 150-200+ AA.

SOE doesnt delete accouts btw hall.

Yep, was guilded with Harmonium originally on Povar back when Baven [original GM now retired] recruited people by offering free banded. Those were the days.

We were the first guild to defeat Vox and continued to pave the way for all guilds to form as they continue to do now as well.

I remember [this is how long ago it was] being one of the first players ever to stumble upon Guk, Moku [now plays Fawy one of the GMs] had to save me from drowning in that zone. Funny funny stuff.

I have alot of great memories from that game from when everything was new, every corner a new adventure and back when the players were actually nice.

As far as the Red Sox pitcher goes, Id need to know his char name but if he was in the guild for any extended period of time Im sure I do know him. Most of the people who were famous or semi famous that played or continue to play like to keep who they are private, afterall, they log in to play and escape not to be treated differently than anyone else.

We had quite a few famous people in our guild, from actors to fantasy writers to a handful of professional sports players. We had GMs from other servers, guides and quest troop members fly our name over head as well. Most of the time you never really knew who they were until they decided not to play anymore and then they would drop the bomb: Had a great time playing with you all, blah blah, and by the way I am XXX keep a watch for me, or something to that effect.

Harmonium was always a hard core guild, Im sure that anyone with a competitive bone in their body who ended up on Povar/Xev would look to that guild to satisfy their need to be the best.

here is their web link if you want to check them out Flip, but unless they are recruiting a specific class you will have to get to know some of the members and even then wont be considered till you are lvl 60, but in your case [druid] youre most likely looking at lvl 65.

Good luck.

Another great guild on that server [smaller but lots of good players] is Altera Vitae [AV]. It takes them a little longer to do what Harm does but once they get their strats down they do it with alot less people and to me that says alot.

I could quote way too many cliche's for Camelot as well Lieph.

Please refrain from them for EQ, as the game you are playing also falls into the "gay" category as well, perhaps even more so since NF has launched.

Thnx
