You can play through every zone on a single character, regardless of faction. There’s a reason why few MMOs bother with three factions nowadays – it’s a vast amount of content to create, particularly when you’re only likely to see a third of it. TESO’s solution is clever. You’ll level from 1-50 and...

Nah, it's got a 10 million dollar budget, he has other backers and he's putting in 2 million of his own money if the KS gets funded. Rumor has it that it's getting funded no matter what, so that's hopeful.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5pt7yj9SUk Pretty interesting insights into their development goals/desires for CU. I really hope that they make this $2 million kickstarter goal because I think a less eclectic gaming audience in a game will really streamline development and allow the players to get ...

Yeah man, Kaineng is blue in T2 right now, with a pretty big population of North Americans (most of who need better training) and a ton of Koreans. We're basically fighting Blackgate again (like we were before IoJ tanked) but we are much, much more competitive for first than we were before. If our N...

Nah, we left IoJ and dropped onto Kaineng when it was in t6. IoJ's entire Oceanic crew went to FA and/or SoS, so half of the NA timeslot guilds went to SoR, FA, or SoS. These videos were recorded on the Kaineng server.

According to what I read, the only PvE will be a starter zone for people to get used to the controls and whatnot. Armor and things will be obtained through pvp challenges and player crafting. Basically it seems like he wants to go back to the DAoC style of player crafting being the basis upon which ...

http://massively.joystiq.com/2013/02/05/rvr-unchained-mark-jacobs-returns-to-camelot/ The real question is, will it get funded, and will it be fun without any PvE at all. I dig PvP as much as any of you do, but I feel like there won't be much world to be immersed in if all there is to it is PvP zone...

Won't work, the t6 mat conversion not only takes more from the previous tier (250) but it also only produces 5-12 or something of the t6 material. @ 30c incandescent dust alone costs 75s for 250, so there's no way it will be worth it if the t6 dust doesn't sell for 30-45s each

I knew rob wouldn't want to play. In a way I don't really blame him, I would hate to corrupt my vision of how epic daoc felt when it was relevant. It does lose some epicness in translation, particularly after experiencing other, better programmed, mmos. Luckily enough, I played daoc in '09 and again...

I won't commit to it until i see how the Feb patch shakes out for gw2. With daoc still being p2p, if i resub it would be my primary game, with gw2 available when i can't find good fights in daoc. Once i see how the population shakes out next month and how good the changes are, I'll have a better ide...
